if you choose to look at it that way, that's fine, but to say that is like saying that the the whole 'walt spilling the beans about the affair' was just a lazy plot device used to try to absolve skylar of the guilt/necessity of telling the truth. that just isn't going to work on me, regardless of what the intentions

it didn't play that way to me. like someone mentioned above, at the most, i expected her to concoct some new lie that would keep the kids out the house—it never once crossed my mind that she might actually tell the truth. so if that was what gunn/gilligan intended, then the scene was poorly written and executed. what

yes, but how does she know that? obviously as an actress, she's going to be sympathetic to her character and believe that skylar wants to tell the truth. i disagree with her.

an actor/actress's take on 'what might have happened' has no relevance for me. in my opinion, if she was prepared to drop that bombshell, a stupid thing like walt telling marie about her affair wouldn't have stopped her. let's not forget that her children's lives are in legitimate danger here. nothing, particularly

skylar didn't close down just because of what walt told marie. when are people going to accept that she's an adult capable of making her own decisions? she can walk away from this lifestyle and/or come clean at any time she chooses—which is why her scenes grow more and more unbearable as the show goes on. they're not

i hadn't heard of it. thanks.

the sad thing is that i would actually watch a show like breaking pointe if they had gotten the formula right. they needed to look to a documentary like ballerina rather than looking to mtv for ideas on how to make the show worth watching. at this stage, they've eliminated most of their potential audience. those that

i guess i should clarify—she never does anything about her anger at walt. all the examples you mentioned were plans she came up with to cover for his or other people's crimes. she personally has never done anything productive when it come to her emotional/mental issues regarding the state of their marriage or her

she also knows he did it in self-defense. she mentioned this last episode that she is aware that his previous boss was going to kill his entire family. i'm not sure what further context she needs. as far as her not realizing he's a criminal—i'm not buying that either. this is the woman that back in season one wanted a

she didn't 'just realize' her husband is a criminal. she's been going along with this for quite a while, and then, suddenly, when her family's lives are in actual peril, and walt does something about it, she gets a conscience? maybe if she had found out about the child poisoning, i could see this. but she's terrified

actually, the IFT  thing was the only time i've ever defended skylar. at least she did something proactive in that episode. otherwise, she whines, fumes, gives people the death stare, but she never DOES anything. her entire character arc is a lesson in lethargy.
