Michael dated Rachel McAdams for three years prior to Sarah. All the Gosling-ers were like, "HIM?!" (There's still pining out there for Rachel and Ryan. Clearly, everyone has moved ON.)

Kate Beckinsale dumped/left Michael Sheen for the Underworld director. Michael Sheen could really pull off sexy werewolf, too!

Wow, this is exactly my introduction to the band too.

I heard a story that the album title "Congratulations… I'm Sorry" was from what the band kept being told in the light of "New Miserable Experience's" success. "Congratulations" (on the huge sales) and "I'm Sorry" (about the loss of Doug Hopkins)

I loved this song (and "Alison Road" even more) as straight-up pop. The description of "timeless" was very apt. Great pop really endures… early Beatles, the standards of the 30s and 40s.

This is my same exact experience growing up with "the Maltin" as my film educator. Sigh. Best review ever was for "The Promise."

I'm having fun too, loathing Troy and seething at his obnoxiousness.

Like away, Geddy Lee. Have fun.

But Hawke's character only saw the bullshit of others, and was blind to his OWN bullshit. He was kidding himself.

Yep, can't stand Ethan Hawke. Not even seeing the "Before" movie series could remove the loathing.

EWWW, Ilan.

Rawhide lives!!!

The Best Screenplay Oscar for The Lion in Winter was well-deserved.

Timothy Dalton has an eternal Pancakes pass for his role as Philip in The Lion in Winter. He was beautiful, his voice was just BUTTER and he commanded a room with Peter O'Toole and Anthony Hopkins in it. And he was still in his early 20s! When he got the role of James Bond, I thought it was a good move… for the Bond

No!!! Not the bore worms!

He might have, TGGP. I can't recall specifically any more. It was a nice surprise that Michael Mann was fairly chatty! I assumed he wouldn't take to DVD commentating that well.

Okay… That one time….

I've never been able to stand Johnny Depp since the 21 Jump Street — the TV SHOW. Just didn't care for his acting style, and he just seemed so pretentious and humorless in his public life.

I can see that might be the case, mbs. I haven't seen all of Nic Cage's movies… But I guess the one's I thought he'd be checked out… there are moments where you could see he was going for something. He thought about it, even though perhaps the movie didn't have such big ambitions as he did.

He's just that kind of actor who can pull that off. How can you not love it?
