thanks for this. i come here for the sharp political insight.

first episode of HIMYM with genuine laughs in a long time.

stump
i think the folks at av club are the only people who give a fuck about fall out boy.

nicki minaj destroys two of the best rappers in the game on her verse. they had to sequence it last, because hov's verse would be a joke coming after hers.

how'd your pussy game come up?

every movie dicaprio is ever in, people say the same thing: "i'm not sure about dicaprio in (movie)" and he's always good.

or cocaine

bastards
you just had to bring up lone star, didn't you. i had pretty much removed it from my memory bank, so as to stop wondering if the con worked out, and which wife discovered the secret lives first. now i'm wondering again.

some champagne, too!

meh
i queef better scripts than this.

please consider me "fucked".

fuck yeah
blu ray was made for this movie. criterion did a beautiful job, as always.

pam's air humps were the best thing about this season so far. someone please .gif the fuck out of that asap.

too bad, this was very promising. i shouldn't have watched it. i'm sure it would have been a huge hit had i stayed away.

twenty-seventhsies
i can't think of a better network pilot since studio 60 on the sunset strip. and look how well that turned out! here's hoping that lone star fares a bit better.

i'm in the minority, i know. but i really liked "my blueberry nights" quite a lot, even more than "in the mood for love". if cat power and norah jones would've made out, it could have been when of the greatest films ever made.

the fight
so was this a recreation of the real fight c.k. and dipalo had a while back? or was that just audio from this show, and people thought the fight was real? if it was a recreation, that is pretty fucking brilliant. if not, still pretty funny.

the film could be good, if the right talent was attached to it. it could also be complete garbage. either way, i'm surprised no one has made it yet.

comic books
that graphic novel "blankets". that one really got me. how has that not been made into a movie yet?
