Now that I'm older, I'm more afraid of Bob The Guy Down the Street Who Never Mows His Lawn and Is Bringing Down Property Values, but hardly anybody draws hot versions of him on the Internet.

There are statues all around my state (Texas), and I would guarantee that few people could name a single accomplishment of many of those depicted in the statues.

It's so strange that people want to equate celebrating someone for actions that were almost entirely related to keeping an entire group of people in slavery to people who were celebrated for other accomplishments but who harbored some views that people wouldn't agree with now.

There are no statues in Texas honoring Edmund J. Davis, a man who fled Texas to join the Union war effort, ultimately being named a General in the Union Army and then becoming Governor during Reconstruction where he presided over the founding of the Texas State Police, which included black officers and investigated

There were some prominent Texans who fought for the Union, and somehow the state never got around to building statues to honor them (unless they were better known for other stuff - like Sam Houston).

Not to defend the song, but at least it came about during the time period of the war. The Lee and Jackson statues were erected in Baltimore in the aftermath of World War II.

If the thugs would sit still in a park and wait for some heavy construction equipment to remove them, they'd be a lot easier to catch.

This better not fuck with my 'Jeff Jefferson: Urban Bear Hunter' pilot.

Sure, I got to fly to a concert… on Southwest.

But going beyond the movie itself, I am not familiar with anyone but maybe a few cranks arguing that equality means that everyone has to be the same to the point of people handicapping their talents or skills, etc. in order to be the same.

I would pay up to $12 to watch that movie.

I saw Journey in concert when Randy Jackson was playing bass with them. And Glass Tiger opened.

Well sure, except that there's a difference between saying that a set has all the Bond movies between Dr. No and Skyfall when it doesn't include two Bond movies that were released between Dr. No and Skyfall and saying the set has all the movies between Dr. No and Skyfall and doesn't include movies made/released after

Well, I mean, Pat wasn't really meant to be transgender. The character had an ambiguous gender and the "joke" was people trying to get the character to say which gender he or she was so they'd finally know one way or another. We never know what gender Pat is identifying as. We only know it's a female actress and a

I'm not really on her side, per se, but I'd prefer that if something as advertised as something, it be that something.

MAPSCO or GTFO.

I keep seeing the commercials for that, and it seems like something I'd like, but I haven't managed to actually watch it yet.

TBS has had some surprisingly funny shows, in my opinion, though I've skipped a few.

Despite the negative press, I'm warning Iran without mentioning them by name and using a word that only ancient scholars who don't translate all that well would know because if I'm warning Iran, it's best to be super vague about it. And nobody at the White House could tell me how to translate the warning into a word

And he was supposedly tweeting it in order to show support for Afghanistan, even though the people there don't widely speak Arabic.
