after cringing through that scene i never thought lena dunham in fetish gear would seem so….. comforting.

if the crowes were hellbent on stealing the heroin, why didnt they try to kill boyd in the mexican desert? they dont need him to get out of mexico. the only rational explanation is that they figured there would have been too many people to kill during their ambush, but amid the confusion who could tell who was

I'm at WKGB in Washington, DC.

haven't we all learned from this episode what can befall us if we misspell "marshal?"

seemed like the guard and the plumber were dealing different drugs but she figured she could get out of the menial exchange role and thereby not have to have sex with the guard or whoever by being the person that procures the drugs. and as the plumber was the person available to set up she did what she could do.

yeah, it seemed weird that there were no repercussions from that weekend.

she said in the grantland podcast that there werent any more this season beyond lupone but as the post below demonstrates her resolve may be weakening.

you saved me from being the pedant.

also, its not like he wants to broadcast to his peeps that he got played and then was a snitch. at best no one would ever trust him again.

maybe if the yellow king turns out to be r. kelly he will be back on board. (really i wanted to make a kanye west joke since greenwald cant go a week without fellating him but this one wrote itself.)

i am still snickering with glee at shoshanna's sex scene. she is like the bizarro version of the manic pixie dream girl.

right, but he must be thinking at this point that it would be a lot easier to go into a pitch meeting saying i have 100,000 listeners to my podcast, like a hardwick (who has more, i know), than just saying i think im good at this.

ron swanson might find any number of uses for moose but they were most certainly talking bout mousse. that was my favorite quote, btw.

i think pardo's range of options are more limited though i could be wrong. he is not a sketch guy, but nor could i see him building up a universe like maron or even aukerman much less louis ck (though who could have expected that from louis ck). really, i dont see him acting at all, though somehow i could imagine him

i have to think they are pulling in somewhere in the neighborhood of $150,000 a year at this point which is nothing to sneeze at, but im sure he sees all the big time podcasters getting tv deals of one sort or another and feels that he needs to raise his profile. he could always return to strictly a paid model with,

no mention of fat matthew sweet? what the hell happened? did he eat too many matthews?

will do. i was just mulling over whether to mention Saxondale and as i checked out Steve Coogan's imdb page i noticed that he produced both Nighty Night and The Mighty Boosh. i love it when a post comes together.

i havent seen any of her other shows. i just came across Hunderby when i was searching for some british sitcoms to watch. i guess you are telling me i should give that one a go as well.

im gonna recommend the british sitcom Hunderby. i didnt absolutely love it like Spaced because the humor is quite dark, but it is brilliantly executed. and its only one eight episode season so its not a huge commitment.

i think your review is pretty spot on. there is much to still appreciate in cosby and at times that brilliance shows through but there is plenty that i find tired or dated which happens to most comedians, but especially one that has been so successful that his stand-up is secondary at best at this point.
