she has a very dry wit as a comedian but i have a feeling on this show that its best dispensed in small doses.

white women falsely claiming black men raped them often ended in the black men being strung up. once she was no longer of use and it was reasonably clear that she was full of it, he meted out justice where justice is usually not forthcoming.

i was actually going to say that but theres a lot of comedy talent among the potential roasters with a lot of history with carrell. id like to think they could come up with something beyond making fun of the clunkers on his resume. plus, how many jokes are ultimately aimed at the person being roasted?

i was thinking steve carrell would be perfect. can draw from the casts of the daily show, the office, anchorman & the rest of his movie career. stewart or colbert can mc. endless possibilities. & he has a really good sense of humor about himself.

someone thought you might.

peg-guh guh?

pregnant pause.

no, mr bean?

funny since its based on an english tv show whose name escapes me at the moment.*

ive only seen the first two but the pacing seems off maybe because they are not cutting between multiple storylines. hopefully it will get better as it goes along but focusing each episode on a character (which may have been a scheduling issue) may turn out to be a huge mistake.

he's just lucky not to be marrying into the lannister clan; his girlfriend and his mother might be the same person.

anybody concerned that sims is referring to himself in the third person? did dr feelgood head to the onion offices right after leaving sterling cooper draper pryce cutler gleason chaogh?

dont blame me i voted for kang.

and all this time we thought barney was the don draper of the show but it turns out to be lily.

i always thought that was alyssa milano in that 30 rock ep.

isnt following the grateful dead on tour kind of like masturbating?

funny thing is the entire effort to land ketchup is based on the perceived betrayal of baked beans. peggy should have just fessed up to stan right away if the friendship was a strong as what was being portrayed. it was his indiscretion, after all, that set the pieces in motion.

jamie lannister: army of one.

the "daughter of mumford" that they were setting up to be a love interest for dwight is actually in the edward sharpe and the magnetic zeroes. her name is nora kirkpatrick.

it kind of feels to me like everyone is on prozac. they all seem generally like the same people but less manic and less interesting as a result.
