Conversely I'd be interested to see Dexter with the VO stripped away, to give us a look at what other people are seeing when he just starts interior monologuing. They did it on Scrubs a couple times.

I'm sure other people have mentioned this, but… why, exactly, does Hannah have to wait for Dexter to leave Miami? I mean, she's the one who's the wanted fugitive; he can pretty much stick around another day or two to wrap up business without her if necessary. Maybe some of her toiletries are packed in his suitcase?

Well, it's not like it's JUST Saul. Walter is surrounded by people who are constantly giving him sound, smart advice (include also Gus, Mike, Jesse, Skyler) that he ignores consistently because he's so sure that he's the SMARTEST.

Well, depending on if he could hear Walt keep yelling "No, I'm calling it off!" or not. There was kind of a lot going on.

Utterly believable and depressing.

I did find on rewatch (forcing friends to watch and get hooked) that despite how compelling it is, three episodes of Hannibal in a stretch is about my limit. Not only is it dark, and SO heavy, but I feel that it benefits from some quiet reflection between episodes.

Hot crackers! I take exception to that!

I'm pretty sure there's one coming. You can find The National's version of Linda's Thanksgiving Song on the youtubes.

I figure one of the numbers will win fifty bucks and Walt Jr. will just turn in the ticket. ENJOY YOUR FIFTY DOLLARS

While good at illustrating Walt's frustration and

Actually, I would have liked to see Dan Fogler's performance. He's got the right kind of bug-eyed energy for the part.

It was cut from the version that's available on Netflix, but still on the DVD. I thought it was a shame to see it go; even if it was tonally weird for what the show ended up becoming, I thought it did a good job of setting up who Walt is at the moment the series begins.

There was a considerable amount of blood on the floor of the Hobbs house, too, when Will and Hannibal went back there. Abigail's dead. Hannibal seemed to be genuinely regretful about how things turned out with her (to the point of maybe-real tears), which, in combination with the fact that his plan to set up Will

I'm thinking specifically of Georgia here- while a killer, she was also a victim, and in the glimpses we got

I think the Dr. Gideon episodes were all the more disturbing based on the fact that Gideon is one of the few characters on the show who's not relentlessly grim. While he's not comic relief, he's got a sense of humor- I laughed out loud at the "Please donate to the Red Cross" bit, but Gideon's overall attitude is in

Could hardly wait for this feature to start! I just completed a re-watch of the season and whatever the budget was, every penny was well spent. I remember when I first heard about the show, the assumptions I had about what kind of idiocy it was going to be… pretty much mirror Fuller's description about what the show

I concur- Bendy Boo was my favorite segment, I mostly enjoyed the episode as a whole and I thought GI Zapp was a swing and a miss. Some of the material in GI Joe that's ripest for parody is the fact that it takes great pains to avoid people dying- people ejecting from airplanes before they get blown up, etc. Though I

And of course, "Vide Cor Meum" was used to great effect in the season finale. Just beautiful.
