Some staffers are claiming that, somehow, Pence didn't know Flynn was under investigation/on Turkish payroll. So, I guess Pence is just going deny everything that happens for the rest of his life?

I guess to fight ISIS?

He passes legislation one quarter of a bill at a time.

The Seth Rich conspiracy theory was started by Wikileaks, who still flan the flames by issuing statements about how they don't confirm or deny sources, regarding their interest in Rich.

Also, it's been lost in the shuffle of everything that happened today, but Putin has offered to release Russia's notes on the meeting with Trump, to prove there was no leak of classified information. So, he seems to think he has more credibility that the White House; it's probably close.

The overseas trip will be a good barometer of how bad things are. Previously, Trump ride out scandals by giving a "Presidential" speech and not saying anything crazy for a day or two. If he's still underwater after his first foreign trip - - to be complete with pre-written speeches — then things will really get crazy.

If six seasons of a prime time major network sitcom is what conservatives consider "persecution" I see why they don't think discrimination is a problem.

Fox is still covering the goddamn Clinton Foundation. Do they have any value of as a news source at all? There's being biased, then there's running a traffic report in the middle of a hurricane

Also, some major reveals on the Flynn scandal:

The Washington Post has obtained audio of Paul Ryan and Kevin McCarthy talking about Russia hacking the DNC to help Trump, with Ryan saying he thinks Trump is on Putin's payroll. When the transcript was published, both denied it, but upon finding out there was audio, they claimed they were joking.

Yeah, what's that about? Is that his idea of an olive branch?

Fox News general attitude seems to be burying their heads in the sand and insisting that some college protests or a former presidential candidate starting a PAC are bigger stories than the FBI director being fired.

McConnell complained about White House "drama" distracting from the legislative agenda. So, I guess he considers evidence of obstruction of justice and possible treason to be as serious as high school gossip.

The few minutes I watched was mostly Sanders and Kasich taking turns giving stump speeches, but there was a rapport. I'll probably check out some clips on youtube.

If Trump did it, he'd brag on Twitter the next day about being the best terrorist.

I caught the last 15 minutes of the Sanders Kasich debate/town hall/whatever, and they asked Kasich about his plans to run in 2020. They all seemed to think there was an even chance Trump wouldn't be running in 2020 and the GOP nomination would be up for grabs.

I bet the Russians feel pretty silly coming up with that "personal photographer" bit to sneak in equipment , when all they had to do was ask Trump for some classified intel.

"Screw it, Jared Kushner is in charge of the FBI too, now."

It was a cinemax show, so the depravity was only soft core.

The best case scenario is that the democrats somehow block whoever Trump picks to replace Comey, and the FBI just runs with the acting director for a few years.
