Over/under on how many times Manafort pleads the fifth in his inevitable Congressional testimony? 50? Or does he just lie under oath?

The coverage of the wiretap lie has been so focused on how clearly false it is, it's easy to lose sight of what Trump is clearly trying to do: normalize the use of State power to harass and undermine political enemies. Even with his tweets about how terrible the wiretap is/would be, Trump never suggests anybody should

AHCA update: Paul Ryan is holding last minute talks with the Freedom Caucus to get them all on board. The big thing they're focusing on is repealing essential health coverage, which means insurance companies would no longer need to cover, among other things, hospitalization or prescription medication. The Freedom

Nunes, the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, is providing cover for Trump's wiretapping claims by announcing that some Trump and/or Trump associate communications were incidentally picked up, I.e Trump talked to people that were wiretapped. This is moving the goalposts so far that they're not even in

He massively overestimates how much power the Presidency has, and refuses to accept his low poll numbers—he might think he can just primary out his GOP rivals. He's already threatened to do as much to Kasich.

Assuming his version of the job offer is accurate, that raises further questions. Was he vetted at any point? Did somebody recommend him? Or did Trump just figure 'he seems cool' and offered him the job after one conversation?

I don't know if he was trying to be modest, and overshot, or if his wife really did guilt trip him into taking a job he doesn't want. It probably is the latter.

Even with Trump trying to whip people in line, it doesn't have the votes to pass the House, or the Senate. Will Ryan still press ahead with a vote on Thursday?

AHCA update: Trump has gotten involved, telling Republicans in a closed door meeting that anybody that votes against the bill won't be re-elected. He called out Freedom Caucus member Mark Meadows by name. Meadows immediately told the press that the bill won't pass. A lot of people agree with him.

'What should you wear in the rain?" And "how long did it take to die from pneumonia in the 19th century?"

I work in a call center that handles magazine subscriptions, including an entertainment industry one, so I have a few celebrity assistant emails. We also do a magazine covering federal employees benefits, so, long story short, I have a CIA HR manager email buried somewhere in work emails.

This is unblinking internet irony run amok. Most of Cracked's film articles are the same—dumb, ridiculous, meaningless 'theories' being called plausible because they're allegedly "fun" that get taken way too seriously.

Relived…Or disappointed?

AHCA update: the bill has been rewritten to possibly include an extra $80 billion or so earmarked for people between 50 and 65. "Possibly" because the House is including a passage to authorize the Senate to add the increased funds, but not actually doing it themselves for some reason. There's also some more Medicaid

Ivanka Trump will have an office in the West Wing, security clearance, and government issued secured smartphone. She does not have an actual job in the White House, as that would violate anti-nepotism laws.

Friend of Russia Rex Tillerson will skip the first NATO meeting during his time as Secretary of State, but will visit Russia a week later. Priorities.

So, the President live tweeted a Congressional hearing, which responded to his tweets in real time.

Here's my impression of Tillerson's trip to China:

I mean, Trump is planning to help rich people, but he is genuinely incompetent, so not the best horse to bet on.

WikiLeaks has been playing coy about if the data had been leaked by an insider or hacked. But they are pointlessly coy about everything.
