I'm still waiting
for Regarding Henry II: Regard Harder

His character in Extraordinary Measures
is an irascible man who doesn't cooperate well with other people, or care about much but the science…until the fateful day when he is shot during a convenience story robbery, suffers brain damage, and has to learn everything over again…including how to be a human being.

Me so happy…me want to cry!

Is it just me…
or did anyone else think that assassin dude with the black hair and beard (the one that Jack later took out with an ax to the chest) looked like Breckin Meyer? In fact, I wasn't sure that wasn't him until I saw how tall he was and heard him speak.

That was the first thing I thought! Maybe he has an argument with Jackie about the warm blooded vs. cold blooded dinosaur theory.

Pompadoured?
Scott, do you actually know what a pompadour is?

I still remember "When The Cow moos, udders tremble!"

I was thinking of "I Must Not Think Bad Thoughts" but I think both songs qualify. "Bad Thoughts" is just more overt about it.

What about X - "The Unheard Music"?

Guys named "Alasdair"
When I first saw the name "Alasdair" my heart leapt in anticipation for a nanosecond because I was hoping it was going to be an interview with the wonderful Scottish novelist/artist Alasdair Gray. Now, I don't really read that slowly; I'd already read "MacLean" but I just wanted it to be "Gray"

Being a longtime Bull Durham fan, I enjoyed the reference too.

Who in the holy hell
is Kelly Cutrone?

Ha ha, Canada.

Osborne is of the homosexual persuasion.

Almost Famous
Frances McDormand dressing down Billy Crudup over the phone is one of the greatest things ever filmed. "Be bold, and mighty forces will come to your aid. Goethe said that."

Uh…FBI official selling secrets to the Russians and there's a sting operation to root him out…sound like a thriller to me.

Yeah, it sounds painful.

And replace "bad" with "annoying." He probably was well cast as Anakin, it's just that no one wants him to be that whiny and irritating.

And one more thing about the casting: The very qualities that made Hayden Christensen a bad Anakin Skywalker made him a perfect Stephen Glass. The whininess, the persecution complex, the inability to accept responsibility for one's actions…it's all there. I'm not saying he's like that in real life, but he acts that

Excuse me, Sarsgaard.
