God, I love that movie. But for me Rushmore will always be my Rushmore.

I feel like a C review for this episode is borderline trolling. Or we
just shouldn't fucking listen to critics. I thought last week was a
little below average for the standards they've established, but I didn't
have that feeling this week at all. Awesome episode. Fucking C. This
critic has no pants on,

It takes place after Peter Pan has grown up, so really more of a sequel. Man, I loved that movie as a little kid. Fun Fact: Phil Collins has a bit role as a detective. Also, Dustin Hoffman was great, although I hear this movie does not hold up well.
Edit: sorry I read your phrase wrong, I really should have been

I think it has to do with just how strong good weed tends to be nowadays. From what I understand, most boomers back in the 60's and 70's were smoking what my friends and I used to call "scwagg" basically low quality brick weed (I mean people bought it by the freaking lid). Anyway, all these people are now old and some

Was your kennel mostly college age? Mine seems mostly 20s to 40s range with one or two crusty old dudes that are actually 60 or 70. I'm 32 and have just been in for a couple years. Its a good way to waste a Sunday afternoon…they call me X-cabator (my wife is known as Bearly Fucked)

So recovered/reformed hasher? (or extreme backslider?)

Hasher?

This is going to sound unbelievably nerdy, but is that last part a SQL-based joke?

I just read a book recently called The Simpsons and their Mathematical Secrets, by Simon Singh. It was actually a pretty good read. Evidently, an unusually high number of Simpson's writers had advanced degrees in math-related things or computer science and they were often hiding math jokes in the background. There is

so what you're sayin' is, Gene Simmons was the inspiration for Krusty the Clown…I just want to say I've never gotten into KISS because their well known stuff is so bland I could never bring myself to listen to any deeper cuts. As a kid, I did like that one song that was at the end of 'Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey'

The book was really fucking scary, but can we talk about the SPOILERS, ahem, subterranean gang-bang by a bunch of twelve year olds? Made zero sense to me when I read it. Nothing has made me wonder about Mr. King like this part of the book. Seriously, what the hell? Girl has probably been molested by her shitty dad so

My personal favorite is the tv-safe version of 'The Big Lebowski'. Some of the edits are completely surreal. Like the whole, "Do you see what happens?" part had something to do with mountain climbing in the Alps (I think)

I remember seeing this as a kid and not getting it, I wonder if I would like it now..

I think you're getting Arnold mixed up with Liz Lemon again. It happens.

Hey I just learned something! I hate when that happens. But seriously, now that I know the term 'eggcorn' I swear I will see/hear it twice more in the next week or so.

You know, I agree that you are right, but I think it's one of those things where the incorrect usage becomes so common that it's just going to become acceptable. Kind of how words don't really come from the dictionary and definitions change over time. It even sort of makes more sense in a way: card shark!  But still

But do you read for your own enjoyment? If you don't really enjoy reading then I guess I could see how you could have trouble getting into these books. If you are a big reader and you don't like the first in the series, then maybe you were put off by all the invented terminology and sprawling multi-perspective

nice use of spoiler markup language

Liked for Key & Peele reference during college football season in a Game of Thrones thread..
