I agree with you at least a little there. But in this story in particular, her acting is absolutely horrible. Every time she was on the screen, I winced. In her defense, I haven't noticed her be quite so bad in the other stories so far, but neither has she distinguished herself.

Totally agree - yes, the plot of the court case gets a bit tiresome in this season, but the performances from the main players are absolutely amazing. That alone saves this season from the "this season sucks" narrative that I've seen popping up lately. Plus, as always, the beautiful cinematography and imagery.
