Yeah I generally try not think of the movie when I watch this show - it will just make the experience worse. Whenever I see Jennifer Goines, it gets hard…maybe I should rephrase that…..when I see her, all I see is a pale imitation of Brad Pitt, and I'm reminded of how much this show is not the movie.

You're giving the writing more benefit than I am I guess. I've seen a fun, time-traveling show, but I haven't seen one that is quite that deep. The writers, to me anyway, seem to be trying to set up some dramatic conflict between the two former best friends, and the viewers are supposed to be all like "Wow! What's

Overall a good episode, I just thought some of the line deliveries and dialogue were cheesey. It's a little hard to believe that it would all come down to people being so short-sighted that their whole arguments revolve around their selfish interests and loved ones rather than the saving of several billion people and

Yeah that was confusing. I'm guessing that it will become clearer as the rest of the episodes play out. Still hoping that the seeming mistake from last week will be fixed as well. Given the conversation between Cole and Cassie, I think it will - she talks of having lots of conversations with him between 2015-2017…

That pizza made me insanely hungry. Just can't get pizza like that where I am in China…. anyone know a joint that would deliver to northeast China…?

Ok, I NEVER want this show to end. Each episode this season just cranks up the tension more and more. They are so patient, I can't believe they took so long with the Martha story line. Any other show would have rushed that into one season, but not these guys. They are not afraid of the slow burn, and I love them

I agree that the show struggles in some respects, but I think one thing it has handled very well is in making all the time travel stuff make sense. I wouldn't at all be surprised if something happens in the next episode to make the logic at the end of this one make sense.

I don't think it was that bad either. The trial stuff does get a bit melodramatic in parts, but the Sandbrook murders storyline is intriguing and really kept me guessing until the end. And, of course, the acting from the leads and the cinematography alone keep this show still in the better than average category.

OK, I read it. Well done on the picks - these are definitely ones that stick out my memory as being awesome. ANyone reading this article really needs to just watch the whole series though - there's such a ratio of quality.

Haven't even read it yet. Too excited!!! We NEED THIS in TV Club Classic!!!!

I was unhappy with a lot of things at first. 1) how the hell would he have survived a direct assault of bombs like that? 2) The reveal/cheat, etc.

Totally agreed. I listened to the whole score of Season 2, and honestly the stuff Trevor Morris does on his own is bland at best while Wadruna's stuff is amazingly epic - perfectly suited for the show. Was glad to hear them back after not hearing anything Wardruna-like in the first episode.

Agent Itwasjust A. Puddingpop!

Disappointed not to hear any Wardruna music in this episode. Their score work was the highlight of Season 2 for me. If you listen to the official soundtrack release, which is super long, you can really spot the points where Wardruna comes in because it goes from super boring and pedestrian to WOW WHAT THE FUCK IS

Someone else upthread mentioned something about a European version having different parts. First time I've heard of all this. Where can one go about getting those episodes?

BUT….why was there not even a runner up for the letter B? The site has covered, and fawned over (rightly so), Batman the Animated Series in the past, so why not even include it as a runner up? When AV CLub makes obvious mistakes like that, which they have often done in the past, it smells fishy to me.

I fucking love the shit out of that show. It's so amazing in how it mixes great Japanese films, spaghetti westerns, sci-fi, and flat out comedy. It really is something that kids and adults can enjoy together. And those hand-painted backgrounds - wow. FAAAAAAAR past time for a TV Club Classic on that one. How

Yeah they had runners-up for other letters, and totally dissed Batman by not putting one at all! So confused…

In a way though, it was perfect. The biggest problem with SNL has ALWAYS been that they don't know when to quit. Overly long, boring, joke-getting-beat-to-death sketches are so much a part of it, that it was almost necessary for something like that to be in there.

I can't help but think that his outburst at the Grammys was connected to this. Like he thought Beyonce should have won because it would have given his product line an extra boost and turned them into the Golden Couple, which would have made them millions and millions more dollars. But no, of course, it was about the
