I saw that too a while back.  Now when I play 'Radio-Activity' I'm always reminded of Pop's falling asleep nightly to 'Geiger Counter' and shopping for asparagus with Ralf and Florian.

Da da da DAH!  Da da da DAH!

They are very sweet.  I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with John Doe at a show in 1981 and he was just the nicest guy.

X's version of 'Soul Kitchen' is murderously effective.

'Los Angeles' and 'Wild Gift' are such a great one-two punch.

When I saw this film I was high on mushrooms, and the sheen of sweat on all the characters had me convinced they were all made of some kind of ceramic.

It was the Golden Age of the turtleneck, wrap-around sunglasses, boss chicks, Lincoln Continentals and Cadillac Eldorados, and everyone smoking Silva Thins or Benson &Hedges 100s.

Man, I loved this show as a kid.  I wanted to be a spy in the worst way.

"Wallace Beery!  Wrestling picture!  What-  do you need a road map?"

"No kidding, Boss-  were you really that big"

What a twerp.

Always nice to see a shout-out to the great Jim Flora.

I sure like that cover design-  wonder if it's the work of the redoubtable Art Chantry?

He did a damn fine job handling their pyrotechnics.

Their new record will be made entirely of osmium.

"Yaaay!" was just what I was going to say.  I guess I'll say, "Yeeeey!"

Absolutely.  It wasn't until the scene wrapped up I realized, "Holy Cow, that was one unbroken take!"  Very sneakily undertaken, much like a similar scene in 'Gun Crazy'-  not the silly remake but the original with John Dall.

MP3s are lossy.  WAVs and AIFFs are acceptable.

I've been committing all my vinyl to digital with an old Technics direct-drive deck I bought at a yard sale for $15, put a decent cart/stylus into it, ran it through an old receiver with a phono preamp and use Audacity, free software, to do the A/D and processing.  Works great.  Didn't cost much at all to get

Affirmative. They're chucked into tiny lathes and cut down to cute size by elves.
