In case Carrie hasn't realised this by now, on Homeland a black SUV with tinted windows almost always means trouble.

What are you cackling at, fatty?  Too much pie, that's your problem!

The problem with Jennifer Carpenter is that she was often used for exposition.  She was the character who had the job of keeping the audience updated on what happened last week in Dexter.

Julian Fellowes wrote a screenplay of Romeo + Juliet that almost entirely dispenses with Shakespeare's original dialogue. He's just that talented….or stupid.

"There was nothing in this episode as riveting and interesting to me as the travails of Dana Brody…"

To be honest I think Homeland has already started tanking.  Look at how easily SNL ripped the show apart in the second season.  There's a lot of stupid shit going on.

Hannah:  Look Harrison, I bought you a present.

Someone should also have told Dexter that when you dump a fresh corpse in the ocean, typically it doesn't just sink peacefully into the depths.

That's not a bad story at all.

This show has just been broadcast in the UK so let me give my two pennies:

Arguably the biggest mistake the writers ever made was to kill off Doakes in season 2.

I personally place all the blame for the crapness of this show on the Hannah McKay character.

My mother has been watching Dexter from the beginning and she is one of the show's biggest supporters but even she is coming to understand that the ending is just going to fizzle out.  There's going to be nothing dramatic.

Hank would have lost his family and his career and be some disconnected nobody by now.  It makes it much easier to kill someone when they exist in a social vacuum, like most of Dexter's victims.

Here's to an "F" for the finale.

No, we're still stuck in that shit tunnel and there's a steel grate covering the exit.

Dexter's personal popularity.  This is yet another example of the writers making shit up and not expecting any questions.

I think you might be waiting a long time for an explanation.

Most characters on Dexter have a very short and/or inconsistent memory.  Sure, Dexter himself remembers he wants to see Astor and Cody (God help them) but when was the last time he mentioned Rita, you know, the mother of his child?

I like Julia Styles.  I would hate to see her on this miserable sack of shit show now.
