It probably also had a lot to do with the fact that the first four Babylon stations either blew up or vanished without a trace. If you're a member of the EarthGov security force, that's not going to be much of an incentive when it's time to decide where you're going to put in for your next transfer. More likely that

Can't agree with you about "Confessions."  I'll grant you that it wasn't one of B5's best, but without dropping any spoilers, I thought it had some good bits about religious/superstitious foolishness in the face of medical science (although "Believers" did it even better).  Also, "Confessions" had guts to end the way

OK, if "Infection" is the one where Londo calls Vir a "moon-faced assassin of joy," it gets an F+.  Otherwise, I'd say this one is the winner of the worst B5 episode contest (although "TKO" takes the silver turd medal right behind it).

In which case he should receive the Officer of the Year award.

Maybe she could piggyback this incident onto the Amanda Bynes case and petition President Obama to fire the truck driver.

BSG uniforms seemed like the most practical, but that's in keeping with costume design for the whole show, which was pretty much to dress everyone the same as what people wear today.

I didn't have any problems with Thompson either.  That being said (* SLIGHT SPOILER *), I was very happy when they eventually brought Patricia Tallman back.  Mostly because I thought she was way hotter than Thompson, but also because at least they were trying to maintain some series continuity.

B5 is one of my all-time favorite sci-fi series, so JMS gets a lot of credit in my book (and seemed like a pretty nice guy when I met him on a tour of the B5 studios and sets when the show was in production).  But he also has a reputation of being notoriously difficult to work with in the long run.  Of course there

I sometimes wonder if the people who write/run shows such as Mad Men read articles like this and ask, "How the hell did Adams come up with this theory?" Don't get me wrong - it's a brilliantly written show, and it certainly doesn't shy away from metaphors. But it gets to the point where you can over-analyze things

If nothing else, the bar fights would be fucking epic.

Can we all just hold off mentioning Alexander in any way, ever?  Even when we get to reviews of episodes where he appears?  We all know we'll be happier that way, so let's just agree to that now and spare ourselves the anguish later.
