In a way this is the second coming of jesus.

BTW my Dad told me that he saw Dawes at the OWS thing today and for a minute I though he was making a av club joke.

No mixing of the sexes until they get a order for season 2.

Well since the new Dallas is on TNT and not CBS, maybe the new Dukes would be on something like CMT or CNBC or CNNHLN.

Dallas has always been a guilty pleasure (hate that word) for me and I am looking forward to this show almost as much as I am looking forward to the return of like Game of Thrones and Mad Men.  But yes this trailer is kind of lol.

Todd's idea that he wrote about in a piece a few months ago about how network television may soon be better than cable TV has not really looked that great in hindsight.

Dr.Evil knew what he was doing.

This is like someone saying "OMG your five year old son that I have not seen in twenty years is 25???? How did that happen?"

A Davey Jones concert was my first concert. Maybe boomers bringing their kids to Monkees/Monkee concerts is a unexplored part of pop culture.

"is said to be an edgier and slightly darker take exploring origins of Herman and Lily Munster (originally played by Fred Gwynne and Yvonne De Carlo) and how they arrived at the famed 1313 Mockingbird Lane address"
they took a car and  they bought the house is that so hard?

I always though that Frasier on "Frasier" seemed a bit on the snobby side for a person that just spent years in a bar with working class  people.

Or a gritty Cam Jensen show.

Im waiting for HBO do make a adaption of a book report I made when I was 8 about Alexander and his no good horrible very bad day.

How long until HBO makes a drama show based on the "My Year of Flops" book?

But will Jeff Goldblum be in the movie saving the world again? During that era in the 90's around three action figures were made of people Jeff Goldblum has played in movies. Everything was coming up Goldblum.

I can see the ads for it "If the system has let you down you can always turn to the crazy fucked up serial killer who has a skull on his shirt"

How many drama shows does HBO have in the works anyway? About four or five book-related shows, the Sorkin thing and this?

You see that shows the disrespect that TV gets compared to other mediums. You would not have Jonathan Franzen say "It's not a book it's Jonathan Franzen"

No you see TNT just "knows drama" that does not mean that they show drama on TNT itself. Maybe TNT watches Breaking Bad all day and orders new cop and lawyer shows during the commercial breaks.

See the good thing about AMC is that story matters.
