I like how they never really gave Chuck a storyline. He was obviously sick in the head but his family on the show ignored him for the most part. The same with the Major.

I used to watch this on Comedy Central when I was in high school. Billy Crystal's brother was a art teacher at my school so I would see him in the halls and then go home and watch his brother from 21 years ago on my TV.

I think the plotline of Julian being gay on the Shield was dropped due to the actors personal views.

I think I remember reading in TV Guide around ten years ago about General Hospital coming back to the Luke/Laura rape thing. So I guess it is technically not a  dropped plot-line even if it was for a few decades. .

The show (during the classic years I mean) made jokes about Moe and Skinner but they more like "Haha Moe is lonely!" instead of the more bitter sweet Patty/Selma/Edna shows where we are actually supposed to care about them.
