Well, this is America buddy (at least the space where this comment board is, I'm assuming), and gosh darned it, you can like whatever you please.

The Foo Fighters, especially in their earlier days, put out some really solid rock albums - I know people will argue anything, and maybe I'm wrong, but The Color and the Shape was one of the best albums of the late nineties, and personal favorite of mine. I got the vinyl repressing as a gift for Christmas, and it

It's actually an all-puppy re-creation of congressional meetings - a mix between Puppy Bowl and "Dogs Playing Poker". Adoraboring.

My god, the Captcha doesn't work!!!

Seriously? Such a disappointment- so tired of Ticketmaster and Stubhub- no one should ever pay that kind of markup on a ticket. Toshiro- I hate Terminal 5 as a venue, and I'm seriously beginning to hate the whole Bowery Presents family. I'd really be interested in knowing how many actual AV Clubbers got their hands on

Seriously, were there like, 2 tickets available? I'm really bummed- a rare live thing I actually wanted to go to, and tickets are gone instantly. Bowery shouldn't have sold out that fast…

I suppose I see what you mean, I guess that's kind of what happens when you trade off singing/instrument duties like they do.  But, by all accounts, they're very popular in Canada, but maybe that has something to do with being native sons of Nova Scotia.

Gonna go ahead and throw Sloan in the "third way" category too - those dudes write some killer classic-rock inspired tunes. It's sad they never got bigger in America - it seems like they should be at least as big as the Black Keys.

Perhaps they can diversify into psychotropic drugs as well - sky's the limit at DONDA.

"DONDA hopes to “help simplify and aesthetically improve everything we see hear, touch, taste and feel”"

It's supposed to be Astro NAUT, but I have stupid fingers, and by the time I realized, I was already Astro Maut.

A good Merlinpeen to you all! May our 2012 be filled with the bounty of our favorite cult tv shows with low ratings & snark!

Acting smug and verbally abusing airline stewards?

@smauis - at least it's your tub & not your bed.  You can always hose the tub down.

I never saw the Nelvana series - was it any good, despite the lack of gritty opium-smuggling realism?

Yeah, that's what it seems like - I checked out wikipedia, and apparently Spielberg has been trying to adapt Tin Tin since the early 80's.

Have you ever been to a 24-hour Wal- Mart after 11 pm in South Jersey? That crap is not, and should not be, tolerable.

Highways would be closed. Flags half-mast. The shoreline will rise 3 feet with the tears of those big haired women…

I don't know why they just didn't animate the damn thing - it's already a cartoon, not much of a stretch. They've got so much source material to work with! I think it would have made a really neat 2-D traditionally animated feature, done in a style similar to the comics.  Hell, even if they had to do a 3-D animation

Well, if it smells like the shore, I'm on board.  If it smells like Linden, I'm out.
