I dug Cluster.

Every book is about rape.

Holmes is very similar to a fantasy series in the sense that he never really dies, even if you assume he did in a previous story.

You can still see Saturn on mine, so I'm happy. You can only kind of make out the squid.

Sansa is actually a direwolf who was shaved and dressed in human clothing the whole time. Nobody suspected.

Dude belongs on a New York Islanders jersey or something.

It's not like anyone's expecting foul play, so why not just say "she used to do a lot of dope, she drank a lot, now she's dead. It's a shame."

As a vegetarian for 29 years (I've never eaten meat), I would just like to point out that I fucking hate PETA and am embarrassed by the idea that people might associate me with their bullshit due to the fact that we agree on the whole not-eating-animals bullshit.

Yeah, a lot of 45s are in the $8-12 range these days if you buy 'em new. Kind of a bummer.

Uh…I'm pretty sure most cities have campus/community radio that is infinitely better than what's being played on the mainstream. I don't think Minneapolis is alone there.

re: Bachman/Cummings, I don't think Burton is going to put any weight on anyone these days. He's too busy playing VLTS and eating pancakes.

Oh, right… the point of that is if buying an album is only an every once in a while thing for me, I'm less likely to buy something new that I'm unsure about.

I think part of my issue is that I much prefer to buy actual records (always have) than to download music, so if it's a choice between something from, say, the 70s or 90s that I *know* I'm gonna love and some new album that I think I might like based on some reviews… I'm usually going to go with the sure thing.

My kid is almost two years old, so I am waaaay out of the loop. I tend to read a lot about new music and will occasionally check something out online if it sounds like it would be up my alley, but I don't even pretend to understand what the hell young people are listening to these days.

Holy shit, that Brosseau joke account is amazing.

…oh, and the point there was that "Dead on Target" should have ended the Hardy Boys series, not launched a new, equally mediocre off-shoot.

Cool Hardy Boys mention up there.

It can. It just takes a bit of modifying.

I have a modified Wii, so now I have any NES, SNES, PS1, N64, Atari 2600, Sega, Sega Genesis, etc. etc. games I could possibly want to play.

I have a lot of VHS tapes. I still watch 'em.
