I still listen to tapes on a regular basis. I never really stopped. The Walkman I'd had since 1997 finally died on me less than a year ago, but I still have a cassette player for my home stereo.

No, no, he should be mocked.

I loved those hockey sticker books. I remember hating the Flames back in the late 80s, and having a real crisis over whether I should trade some 'better' stickers for the Flames players I needed to complete the book, or leave the Flames pages unfinished because I fucking hated them.

Which Nordiques player? I was a big fan before the NHL's Great Hockey Rape of the mid-9os where they relocated my three favourite teams — the Nords, the Whalers and, of course, my hometown Jets.

Canadians who prefer baseball to hockey should probably be deported.

Are you guys all in junior high or something?

I had the Batman cards when the movie came out. That shit seemed really cool at the time, but it's weird to think that I had trading cards that depicted specific scenes in a movie I hadn't even seen yet.

"Vitalogy" is excellent.

"Elderly Woman" is easy to play because the chords are included with the lyrics on the album's liner notes.

Those are both amazing albums, among the best of all time, but I think you're discounting the pure awesomeness of "Vs."

Yeah, No Code is pretty Neil-influenced. He's a pretty obvious influence on them in general.

I consider "Yield" to be when Pearl Jam's decline happened. I still buy all of their albums when they come out, but nothing since has had anywhere near as much impact on me as "Ten," "Vs.," "Vitalogy," and to a lesser extent, "No Code."

You guys have some crazy used record store bargain bins.

The Mars Volta albums have amazing covers. The Pearl Jam avocado cover is a piece of shit.

Jagermeister is disgusting. I think '21 and under' is a stretch. I think most people stop drinking Jagermeister a few months after their 18th birthday, when they realize most bars have a lot of other, more delicious stuff they can try.

Riot Act had maybe two good songs on it. It's the same with every one of their last few records… a couple of standouts, lots of filler.

I find tattoos fascinating as well, even though I don't have any.

Not anymore. She lost a crazy amount of weight.

He probably gets them custom-made. I wear a lot of hockey jerseys, but Smith's always seem to be 900 times larger than any legitimate hockey player (even a goalie) could ever wear, plus it always seems to be fictional teams, which is just weird.

I've seen him twice. Both times he exceeded my already high expectations. I've been listening to him my entire life (parents are big fans too), and his live set just blew me away both times. Just awesome.
