What the hell kind of venues have "lawns"?

This Serbian baby thing is an actual movie?

Yep. I don't live anywhere near where the festival is happening, but I'll definitely be picking up the records.

I always buy their albums whenever they're released, hoping for a return to form, but nothing post-No Code has really done it for me. They have some good songs here and there, but from the fifth record onward, there's a lot of really dull stuff.

3rd Prize, are you serious? Cameron has been the drummer for ages.

Russell's strategy got him to the end twice. I'm sure in his view, there is absolutely nothing wrong with his gameplay, and the only reason he lost is because the jury members were stupid and had hurt feelings.

They are all terrible liars, too. I realize the viewers SAW them throw the challenge, so we knew they were lying, but I think it would have been obvious to anyone.

Ressell cracked me up. How retarded do you have to be to make that mistake? Presumably the guy has watched the show before applying to be a contestant, so he's probably familiar with Russell — which isn't an uncommon name, by the way…

I have absolutely no idea why Russell would shave his pits. Makes no sense.

Black Saint and the Sinner Lady is in the top five jazz albums of all time for me. Coltrane takes the top two spots, Mingus the third, Trane (again) at fourth, and Ornette Coleman rounding out the list.

Sun Ra would be a fantastic G2G. He's certainly one of those guys with a catalogue that is "too big." Certainly daunting for someone without a frame of reference (and incorporating a number of different styles than just the "space music" he's known for.)

Black Saint is definitely a perfect record, start to finish. Just beautiful, beautiful music.

John Coltrane's records make me cry.

I also prefer "Out There" to "Out to Lunch," but in my case (as it was in someone else's), it may just be because I've owned "Out There" for longer.

This is great. Please continue with jazz Gateways.

Nathan Rabin's appearance angers me in the same way I want to punch out Jesse Eisenberg and Michael Cera whenever I see them onscreen.

That Fighting Fantasy shit was great.

Can someone please explain the "Fuck Yeah, _______" things that keep popping up all over the place? I don't get it.

Yes, "gallantry-ly" was a highlight.

Holy Survivor memory, Batman.
