All I know about Wiz Khalifa is that he has too many tattoos. There is a cut-off point for tattoos, and he has way, way surpassed it.

I am a proud owner of the MC Face album.
He's also balding horribly, yet refuses to get rid of the dreadlocks. It's kind of sad, actually.
Whoa, I have a Jesse Dangerously CD.
It's a mistake to include Clipse with the (mostly terrible) mainstream rap of the '00s.
UMD: Exactly. I didn't use Sublime as a gateway either, but considering their massive mainstream popularity, there's got to be a certain percentage of their fans who looked into their influences and went on to bigger and better things.
While Sugar Ray and Crazy Town made it OK for in-shape jock assholes to walk around shirtless, Sublime made it OK for fat, tattooed slobs to do the same.
The Long Beach Dub Allstars were interesting in that they kind of closed the circle on what Sublime was doing. When Sublime did "Saw Red," it was a bunch of unsigned surfer dudes doing their version of a not-all-that-well-known-outside-of-reggae-circles Barrington Levy song. By the time LBDA came out, Sublime was…
I can't see the new AIC coming up with anything lasting either, though. If they come through town, I'm sure I'll see them live, but it will be solely because I want to hear the 90s songs, not because of any new material they've done.
That Godflesh album is incredible.
While "Dirt" is an amazing record and is certainly one of the high points of that decade, I don't know if I would rank as absolute #1.
I'm still a big Blind Melon fan. The self-titled album, "Soup," and even the posthumous "Nico" disc are all awesome.
Dave Abbruzesse.
I have a wrought-iron rooster that doubles as a plant-holder in my house, and I named him Jerry after Mr. Cantrell.
The Unplugged album is actually a close second to "Dirt" in my books. I love it. Back in the day, I lived in a (very) small town in rural Manitoba for about a year and a half, and my job out there required a lot of driving. "Unplugged" was one of the few tapes I had in the car, and I listened to it over and over and…
"Would?" is one of the best songs ever. In any genre, of any era. Just awesome.

Jar of Flies is unbelievable.
Godsmack's singer is a Wiccan with a face tattoo. Even if their music was good (it isn't), I don't think I could ever take them seriously.
*sigh*
