Verdana.

I've been a vegetarian for 28 years and I hate PETA. They make the rest of us look bad.

I don't see how it's an odd career choice. It's Method Man. His lyrics are a combination of crime narratives and weed references. It's not a stretch for him to play either a criminal or a stoner.

I Need Money needs to show up in other movies. Just randomly, in the background. It would be great.

I refuse to believe there are people out there who don't acknowledge "How High" as a masterpiece.

I feel incredibly old/out-of-touch after reading the AV Club's official list as well as some of the commenters' lists. I haven't heard the vast majority of these records.

I wanted to see them open for RHCP, probably on that same tour, but it sold out in minutes. Some people I know who attended (being big Peppers fans) told me that the opening band "sucked" and that they "didn't get it."

Chixdiggit is especially great because the singer has some spinal condition that means he has to sing and play guitar in an incredibly bizarre, contorted pose.

I can't believe anyone can dislike Fishbone's records. "The Reality of My Surroundings" is an all-time classic, and so is "Truth and Soul."

The Weakerthans are, indeed, the worst thing about Winnipeg.

The Weakerthans are boring as hell. The worst thing about living in Winnipeg is that everyone fucking masturbates all over them like they're the best band in the world.

I haven't seen anyone mention Steve Earle yet, but he puts on a great live show.

I think anyone who missed out on seeing Solomon Burke while he was still alive should be crying themselves to sleep every night.

YES. Incredible.

Did they play "Disconnected" over and over and over?

I am jealous of everyone who has seen this band live. I am a huge nerd and love all of their records. I'm even into Omar Rodriguez-Lopez's fucked up solo albums.

Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings are mind-blowing live. The first time I saw them, none of my friends were interested in coming, because they didn't know anything about her, so I went to the show alone, loved it, and picked up some of her records (I guess this was around 2002).

The Slackers are phenomenal, live and on record. Actually, one of my favourite Slackers records is "Live at Ernesto's." Those guys are a perfect live band. If they ever come back, I will definitely be there, every time.

I've seen Pink Floyd (without Waters) and I've seen Waters (without Pink Floyd, but doing "Dark Side of the Moon"), so I figure I've come pretty close to seeing the actual band.

I saw Smashmouth for free, and they were actually better than I expected. This was a few years after they'd already fallen out of favour with the makers of movie trailers, but they were pretty tight.
