Just finished The Narrow Road To The Deep North. Currently reading Redeployment and then I'm gonna tackle Murakami for the very first time.

Tearing through a lot of old ones. Finishing up Now Wait for Last Year by Dick, and then The Divine Invasion. I'm following that with The Moon and Sixpence by Maugham.

There's a butt and a lot of stabbing. Not in the same scene.

Saw this yesterday in a packed theater. I thoroughly enjoyed it, considering any movie that has Colin Firth, Sam Jackson, Mark Strong (who I once again mistook for Stanley Tucci), cartoonish violence, and PUPPIES has to be at least a little entertaining.

The Bubble Bowl episode is one of my favorite things ever. Also they had Nosferatu in an episode. For no reason.

KRUSTYYY KRAYEEEEEYAAAAAYEEEEEYAAAAAAAB AYEEEEEYAAAAYEEEEEEAB PIZZAAAAAAAA ISSSSS THE PIZZZAAAA YEAAAAAAH FOR YOU AND…. MEEEHEEEEEEHEEEEEEE

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND it's a hoax:

I'm 24 and have gone 3 out of the last 4 years. Last summer I went primarily to see Less Than Jake, Yellowcard and Saves The Day. The scene now is a bunch of annoying 12-14 year olds WITH THEIR PARENTS. It's annoying and uncomfortable as hell.

I watched at least 6 of those old Friar's Roasts. Their ability to be hilarious without resulting to disgusting shock humor is outstanding. Foster Brooks and Don Rickles run circles around modern roasters.

Ralph Wiggum is a goldmine of my favorite quotes:

Hannibal Buress is the MVP of that show.

The Rick and Morty ep where the dogs become sentient is unreal.

I'm always cautious when it comes to book-to-film adaptations but when I saw the first trailer I had a feeling PTA nailed it. So fucking pumped for this.

I read it on a plane and when I got to where I needed to be I immediately wanted to hug everyone in the airport. It's nihilistic as shit but it's extremely compelling.

I read Wolf in White Van, Five Came Back, An Untamed State and The Martian. My favorite out of those is The Martian. The staggering amount of research Weir had to conduct in order to convey the story effectively is amazing, and there's a good mix of tension and gallows humor too.

My fave Gaslight Anthem song off their new record is "Rollin and Tumblin." You gotta respect Fallon for coming out and saying he doesn't want to keep making the same records, so while it's a somewhat different sound I still enjoy it a lot.

Fun's first album is lightyears better than their second.

Toss-up between:

RUN THE JEWELS FAST

I'm big on mythology and the way Riordan incorporates it into modernity is really good. They're quick reads too.
