"Now I know why my mum walked into the ocean with rocks in her pockets. On Christmas."

The Free Willy homage with the sub was my favorite part.

"Oh look at you. It's like Mr. Holland's Old Penis."

My fave was definitely The Orchardist by Amanda Coplin.

Agree 100%. Although you could almost predict Cook's assholery through one of his first half-hour live specials. He takes off his shirt and runs into the audience at the end like a dumbass.

BUT WHO IS BUYING THEM

"I love when GOOD Music hits me in the dick"

The Best of Nickelback doesn't have Hero from the Spiderman soundtrack. I realize that was just Chad Kroeger but that's literally the only thing he's ever done that I will unashamedly admit to enjoying.

I'm pretty sure Cartoon Network's new line of programming (Uncle Grandpa, Steven Universe) follows a similar model.

2013 was the year I started listening to country (mostly because "Blurred Lines" and "Get Lucky" were so inescapable and triggered homicidal urges in me and I needed to listen to stations that avoided that shit entirely) so for me it's a tie between "Sweet Annie" by Zac Brown Band and "Round Here" by Florida Georgia

There's an entire FOB-hate-thread in the comment section of that article. It's pretty amazing.

With twerking, Snapchat and everyone posting EVERY GODDAMN THING on Instagram, we are, ever so slowly, coasting towards Idiocracy .

I have a contender for #1
Kidzbop released TWO CDs this year. They cover Thrift Shop. It is fucking terrible.

Take This To Your Grave is, without exaggeration, one of my favorite albums. Like ever.

I applaud you for putting Bangerz as 20 because it can truly only get better from there.

My fave is from "The Phoenix"

I'm sorry but having Fall Out Boy anywhere on this list is a big no-no for me. I realize a lot of bands go through changes in sound as they progress but I don't think that's happened as drastically with anyone recently than it has for them. If you listen to Take This To Your Grave and then then their latest effort

Iglesias's whole act is just wacky sounds, I can't stand him/his popularity.

MASSIVE OPINION ATTACK
-I do not enjoy Kevin Hart's comedy but can understand his appeal. Just not for me.

Beer Hall Putsch is amazing. The fact that there's no intro and it begins with Doug already plugging away an awesome set makes it so much better.
