Alright alright, slow down, before someone on the internet makes me actually reconsider my opinion on something!

I see. Thanks for the explanation.

Nevermind, I guess. I didn't realize the person edited his comment.

I agree with everything you said, except I only sort of liked the Fisk + Murdoch scene. But everything else you said mirrors my opinion exactly. Colleen was a fantastic supporting character - better than any of the other show's - and also thought the Ferramir guy was putting in a good performance.

You don't understand a single thing I said. I don't give a shit about the conversation you were having with the guy beforehand, I read all of that and understood it: you don't want spoilers, that's understandable. But when he said, "Have a great day", you seemed to know he was being an asshole when saying it… how?

We'll just disagree about D'Onofrio - but that's okay, because I seem to be the only one that doesn't think he's a good actor. I think Kingpin could have been more interesting if they made a lot of his scenes more subtextual, rather than textual, and he didn't blather on in the voice he adopted for the character with

I mean, I can't argue too much I guess. I don't think Danny, as a character, was phenomenal, but I still don't think he was more boring than Luke Cage was. In terms of the heroes, I'd say Daredevil is the most interesting, followed closely by Jessica Jones. The other two are about equally bland.

I mean, yeah, this show is clearly going to be a big crossover - that's the whole point of the show, of course. To your last sentence, though - viewership shouldn't be confused with quality. I'd argue that the shows were all interesting enough to a lot of people, but most of these shows had quite a lot of bad writing,

I don't know. I think Luke Cage himself was much blander. He was used well in Jessica Jones, and that show had him good episodes, but most of the goodwill I had for Luke Cage's actual show was due to Cottonmouth.

Most of the crossover characters were relatively minor. The lawyer character from… was it Jessica Jones, was also in Iron Fist. Madame Gao was in both Daredevil and Iron Fist. Luke Cage being in Jessica Jones is perhaps the only real noteworthy crossover aspect, other than the Rosario Dawson throughline of all of the

I feel like they should have made better use of the fact they own these properties and had SOME sort of connective tissue between the shows beyond, like, Rosario Dawson. Yeah, there were a few other characters that showed up in more than one show, but, the way Rosario Dawson's character kept giving out like a single

How do you know he was saying "have a great day" as some sort of slight to you? I mean, I get that this is the internet, but there are normal people mixed in with the trolls and stuff, too. I don't understand why people feel they know the inside of everyone else's head based on a few lines of internet commentating.

I don't think any of the other Netflix hero shows were any better than Iron Fist. I mean, at least Iron Fist had Colleen, who was actually pretty cool for a sidekick character. I guess Jessica Jones was perhaps more consistent in quality than some others (maybe), but most of these shows' seasons only have 3-4 good

Interstellar is fantastic. FANTASTIC, I SAY!

Community begs to differ.

I put on my robe and wizard hat.

Fully agreed. L.A. Confidential is a goddamn masterpiece. It saddens me that there was talk many years ago of a sequel/adaptation of White Jazz, which never got off the ground.

Was it that good? I listened to it only once on Youtube, and it didn't grab me in a big way.

That makes more sense.

I thought this was referring to the Sundance channel, and got really excited because I thought that might mean more stuff like Rectify.
