Does anyone else have really serious issues with videos on AVC? They always buffer almost fully, but then still stutter and freeze on certain frames for seconds at a time. The playback isn't smooth, despite having a gaming PC and super-fast internet, etc. Does anyone else have such an issue?

There was definitely a shot of him sitting down, with a cup of coffee in his hand, in one of the trailers for the show. I keep waiting for the shot to actually show up in an episode, week to week though.

I mean, for what it's worth, I'm not trying to be a jerk, if that helps. I don't care very strongly either way - I just think the creators were intending for the audience to accept that these are giants that died sometime in the past, and probably aren't the ones we've known before, since we had ideas of what happened

I think we're meant to assume not, since I believe Jon instructed the Watch to burn the dead - all of the dead.

Are you talking about Arya, or Lady Mormont?

Haha. I didn't think about that, but, well played.

The White Walkers are far north of the Wall - and by extension, even farther north of Winterfell. How could the giant that died in Winterfell become a giant walking with the Night King far beyond the wall without, like, anyone noticing? It's clearly meant to be giants that died in the past up in the north - where

I don't even know what your question means, so I assume you're being sarcastic? But I'm going to answer it anyway. The giant from Hardhome walked from the shore of Hardhome to the ship, outpacing Jon's boat easily. He never died at Hardhome. He had been the last giant after the rest were killed at the Wall during

Phobias aren't experienced the same way by everyone. Also, while he still might be afraid of fire, he's had a lot of experience with fire (and other horrible shit) for many years, so even if the fear remains, there may be a dulling of his panic in response to its presence.

No, that giant very obviously lived and was in much of the last season at the Wall. That giant died during the Battle of the Bastards, after breaking the door down of Winterfell.

Something tells me you might not know what 'gringo' means.

As opposed to your well-sourced theory about how college educated people who are historically progressive just turn into racist conservatives, because: old?

Well, you're probably not wrong.

Did you have a specific one in mind?

Indeed, Holbrook isn't coming back. I think I'll miss him, actually.

I'd be okay with it at this point. He's an interesting character, but he's not a favorite. I'd be more sad if Podrick died.

Yeah, it'd be nice if they brought at least one of them back and had him survive. So many of those wolves are dead. It's just Ghost left, right? And I bet even if Snow lives through, Ghost won't.

I expect the Brothers Without Banners will also be doing a lot of stuff related to the Lord of Light, no? The Hound is hanging out now with Thoros of Myr and Beric Dondarrion.

Yeah, unfortunately for her, her entire family line is completely gone/fucked now, so… yeah.

"I am not arguing about whether more or less people graduate from college than in the past"
Yes, I know that.
