Yeah agreed. For whatever flaws any of the Raimi movies had, that was absolute perfect casting. Maybe they can bring Simmons back in in a sequel or something? One could hope, anyway.

"If you're built by a genetically enhanced spider…"
She's in the Twin Peaks revival, for what that's worth to you.
He pretty much spells that out verbally in a scene where he describes to the prosecutor his road to become a trial lawyer anyway. He tells the prosecutor that he only went to law school after a judge took a shine to him when he was defending a traffic ticket, and he decided to go to law school as a result. But the…
I'd say the third movie was also entertaining, in that it was a pretty big battle for the entire runtime. The second movie, while it did have a lot of Smaug, was pretty abominable in writing, pacing, and everything else. The love story between the elf and the dwarf was really tedious.
This mirrors my experience with a deep fried Oreo. God that shit is a heart attack.
Yeah, but I think he is on board with this one. This makes me think that this was probably in the works before/during the time Del Toro asked.
The reviewers wouldn't review pirated stuff, I don't think.
Yeah I'm going to continue to be sad about it as well. What makes it worse to me, I think, is that it feels like maybe Del Toro couldn't get Hellboy 3 up because studios were already planning this reboot?
I guess I feel like Carnage as a character could be interesting if written well. Obviously the character as is is not really subtle, but when used as a Joker-esque chaos-loving schemer, it could be okay, I guess? I just don't think when versed against Venom that's particularly interesting, though.
I didn't love The Force Awakens when I first saw it, but I saw it for the second time recently and enjoyed it a lot more than the first. Compared to the prequels, though? It's amazing.
I think it's going to be bad as well. But, did you expect some other villain? Because that seems to be the only choice that makes sense. The ideal choice, I think, would be to just make it a Spider-Man movie. With or without Venom at all.
I remember as a little kid thinking Venom was super cool. Then I saw Carnage, and he was a SERIAL KILLER and had superpowers just like Venom, and I thought that was super cool.
Uhhhhhh. Tell that to all the hyper angry Star Wars nerds, or the people compiling volumes of books about all the silly differences between Tolkein's novels and Jackson's films.
Interesting. We did get that shot of Brigg's face in a past episode, maybe episode 3, while Coop was stuck in that phantom zone before entering Dougie's body.
I find the people suggesting that Diane last saw Evil Cooper surprising and sort of confusing, especially given some of you are saying it's obvious. I don't think that at all.
Interesting, because Clones was abominable to me. It was rife with horrid, horrid acting and writing, overlong, sappy romance scenes, and general tedium. The Fore Awakens, while following well-tread territory, at least had some good acting and some good atmosphere and elements of fun. That's more than I could say for…
Dude, watch Attack of the Clones again. I mean, you probably won't because that's torture, but there is no way in hell The Force Awakens is anywhere near the awfulness of Attack of the Clones.
I'd agree with that largely. It's more strange because Mike Judge made Office Space, which has already demonstrated his knowledge of how otherwise successful (if mundane and soul-sucking) companies can be mined for humor. When I first started watching this show, I thought eventually we'd, uh, get to the fireworks…
"You can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska" just doesn't have the same ring to it.
