Additionally, it really depends on the version. The vocal performances make a huge difference. The lyrics are the lyrics, yes, but there's a playfulness in Ella Fitzgerald's voice, for instance, that makes it way more innocent than when it's covered by less talented others.

I sympathize with the sentiment to some extent. That said, my faith in Teti's editorialship power isn't shaken. I frequent the site, but only comment every now and then, when the mood is right. That said, Polite Fight, for instance, is probably my single favorite thing this website has ever done. Additionally, John's

Pixar didn't necessarily do it alone, however. I believe they were consulting with psychologists during the making of the film. I know, at least, they talked with Dacher Keltner from UC Berkeley about it, who studied under Ekman.

You have narcolepsy. Take this prescription and go to the pharmacy. Better yet, make someone else drive you.

True… Sucker Punch was dreadffulllll.

I CAME TO KICK ASS AND HUG PARENTS… AND I'M ALL OUT OF PARENTS.

I hate these reviews.

It has a lot of detractors, but I absolutely love Interstellar. It's definitely worth seeing to find out where you fit in that debate, but I wholeheartedly love it.

Thanks for the response! I applied to the PhD psych program. It's on the top of my list because of great faculty alignment. Thanks for the luck, though - I may need it just to get in.

Can I ask what subject for Stanford? I just sent an application in there for a doctoral program. Curious how you liked it there, etc. I work for Harvard right now technically, but I'm not applying there - not my preferred atmosphere, I guess. I probably won't get in, though, anyway.

Maybe when you're older, son or daughter. Maybe when you're older.

The opposite is true. It's the worst of the entire series of all the LoTR/Hobbit movies. Cheesy ass elf-dwarf romance, bad dialog, lots of super predictable script sequences. Meh.

I totally disagree about Pena's dialog and scenes. I thought it was wayyyyyyyyy over the top and predictable, and super unfunny. I literally hardly ever laughed at anything he (or that other criminal guy) said.

I do find it funny that he upvoted you. Maybe he agrees!

Have literature on that?

Sorry, that comment wasn't actually directed at you, but @tag_chicago.

Exactly… how do you know that? Again, you're kind of just pulling things out of the air here, I feel like.

That seems like a really odd statement to make, but then again, did you pull it from your behind?

Is that truthfully why they changed the title?

I don't disagree that most slurs are uncreative, sure. But this is a creative work, and "muggles" was, arguably, at least kind of a creative slur. As Clueless Neophyre said, also, though - it's just really awkward to say, and doesn't sound like a slur at all.
