How delightfully uncreative.
How delightfully uncreative.
I don't disagree that cops been behaving badly for a long time. I do disagree that the real problem is just that there are cops who are evil. I think the reality is there's a number of things happening:
I enjoy the movies of Quentin Tarantino. I also think it's cool he attended a peaceful rally against violence.
Police doing brutal shit isn't entirely about whether or not cops are assholes. Take a look at the situation instead. That's what psychology suggests, at least. The power of the situation is compelling and can turn people "evil." Think about the Stanford Prison experiment, and how ordinary kids given some power over…
I don't think that is true at all…..
Definitely glad they're still doing Polite Fight, despite John's (tragic) abandonment of us on the regular reviews. At least we'll always have Mad Men, John…
I'm not sure if the "slime" is the best solution. It's flesh and blood that he's covered in - not walker smell. As someone else pointed out, it's like he's drenched in steak sauce.
That would be a debate about the realism. Gunfire was explicitly shown (maybe more than once) in the episode drawing zombies toward the sound. I think there's been precedent too that zombies around the periphery of a mob will leave for another meal if they can't close enough to feed at the center of the circle.
I felt that way too initially. I'm not sure at this point. To me, it depends on if the walkers get drawn away by noise, and if so, how soon they get drawn away. We only see a few seconds of zombies tearing at Nicholas's corpse.
I think they did a pretty job of showing how he could be alive though:
I agree… though I was surprised at the end how far the car Abraham and Sasha were in was from the herd. Right at the crossroads, too… it seems they should be a little closer, to keep the walkers from going in the other direction.
I wholeheartedly agree with you. I think I've hated the reviews for a very long time, to be honest. A few seasons back, I can't remember which - Rick was going to be handing over Michonne to the Governor, and there was a scene where Rick and the others were finding things to tie her up with so they could tire her up…
I think I said it in the post you replied to, but the only thing I think makes sense that would cause zombies to wander off would be Rick's nearby assault rifle shots drawing them away. The idea was that Rick was going to get close with the RV to the herd, so it's possible he's close enough that his insane spraying of…
I don't think so. I don't think we'll know soon enough, I mean. I imagine if he's alive they'll at least hold onto that until midseason or a finale.
Team Rick.
What was the announcement? I didn't watch.
I think the most plausible situation, if he survived, were the zombies left because of Rick's assault rifle shots at the RV (which was supposed to catch up with the herd). So Rick's shots would have drawn a lot of the zombies away toward him (Rick) and away from Glenn. Then you see them arrive at the end, at the RV.
I guess I'm surprised there's not more controversy about Glenn's demise here. But I haven't looked at all the posts. But I think it's still an open-ended question in that the other guy fell on top of him, and you explicitly don't see the entrails coming from Glenn. It seems very possible the intestines pulled out are…
I think the question in itself is a poorly worded and conceptualized one, because in truth, I don't think ducks in general would be much for "fighting." But because the word "fight" is used, I think I interpret it to mean the duck is provoked, or provocating, and would be using any possible defensive or offensive…
Are you really comparing those situations? There was insurmountable evidence of why that guy was fucking hopeless, not least of which he just slit an innocent man's throat with a stolen sword while raving like a lunatic. Oh, and he's a wife beater, and child beater, etc. - and a general prick. Of course Rick was going…
