Well I'm a private investigator, so I have to know everything. You'd be surprised how often the Spanish conquest of the Incas comes up in cases of dames and gumshoes.

Did you really expect anyone to get that? It was funny, but fairly obscure.

Everybody's all morbid about this show being canceled, but this is the first I have heard of this. Are the ratings really that bad, because I am really liking this show so far, and a cancellation would be very sad indeed. Can ABC really afford to axe this and Apt. 23, effectively cutting half their Tuesday night…

I don't know about anybody else, but the Dana plotline is so close to Margaret that its becoming a bit distracting. It didn't seem to bother Todd, but its skewed so close to the film with the confrontation with the victim's daughter that I am starting to suspect that the show is lifting perhaps too liberally from…

I would really like to see Wright and Whedon collaborate on the script and Wright directing.

Thanks again for making that whole website. It's extremely awesome.

I know I'm getting here late, but I just wanted to say that this is my favorite episode of The Simpsons, my favorite TV show. It may just be for nostalgic reasons, as when I first saw this episode on DVD (alas, I was a child of then 00s, not the 90s) it redefined what humor was capable of. The sheer amount of sight…

Agreed. I saw the film last night and I thought it was fantastic largely because it avoided what Phipps wanted the film to include. What Phipps seemed to want: a biopic that mostly focused on Lincoln and his family life, is the movie that I expected when I first heard of the project. I was extremely pleased when I saw…

I might be the only one who thinks this, but Goblet of Fire is the worst Harry Potter movie. Newell was trying to art up the place like Cuaron did so wonderfully in Prisoner of Azkaban, but failed miserably with all of the ridiculous haircuts and his desperate attempt to squeeze the whole book into a movie, making it…

Agreed @avclub-5c7646b1d39fc0715f330479e4e5f254:disqus : the fifth book was overlong, contrived, and often dull, but the movie greatly improved on it by cutting out a lot of the nonsense.

To me it seemed that it took tradgedy and tweaked it very slightly and made it comedy, which is what much of my favorite comedy does. That's why I loved the sketch.
