To me it seemed that it took tradgedy and tweaked it very slightly and made it comedy, which is what much of my favorite comedy does. That's why I loved the sketch.

I really liked season five, but in six they seemed to dump a lot of character comedy in favor of nonstop absurdism and meta-jokes. This was all funny, but in a much more shallow way than the show had been. Now, the show is absolutely on fire. It's probably as good as it's ever been right now.

Yeah it's good that Walking Dead is becoming a good show and all, but I'm going to miss the jokes about the insanely stupid shit in this show. This goes especially for T-Dog, who is actually getting some lines and screen time now.

That could have been said about the show last season though, or about any season of Breaking Bad. I feel like the writers have earned my trust that they will keep on ramping up the crazy plot twists throughout the season without things becoming contrived.
