Juanito, do you mean Se7en and Zodiac are boring visually? Because I found them both to be gripping, particularly the latter. I also quite liked the production design and the sort of 70's beige/sepia palette of the cinematography.

Whoa, Caged Horse, this is where you get jumped on by all the Pushing Daisies fans. Although come to mention it, talk of a second rate, subsequently cancelled TV show is quite apt…

For what it's worth:

I'm in the UK and I've never seen it. If that assists.

SaveRivers has it pretty much spot on with that Primer, although I would say that by following point 2 you're going to come to GodWeenSatan last, which is a mistake. I'd include that album in point 1.

Good Show Sir is awesome. Check out the one where Harlan Ellison shows up on the comments section, the freaky old bastard (to quote the Conchords)…

Some sort of post-apocalyptic pushbike would seem to be in order.

Sin it… sin it… sin it…

I'd like to meet his tailor.

Fair enough. I won't argue with that. Mainly because I couldn't care less about Heroes.

Totally obvious, Warren. In fact, I struggle to think of many films where I thought the premise sounding fantastic, but I hated the actual film. This was definitely one of them.

Leaving aside the obvious point that they're not movies, I agree. I think the first season of Heroes was actually pretty good, and it just went off the rails from season two onwards. But FlashForward was terrible right from the start, or at least from episode 2 - it had a fantastic premise, but any sort of interest

To be fair, that actually happens in the book.

Also leave out Eric Sykes. He's far too funny and likeable to be scary. Alternatively give him a plank and let him work his magic.

I prefer this version of the joke from the Old Jokes' Home:

Indeed, knowing Dane Cook gets decapitated is like the opposite of a spoiler - an improver?

Actual splinters? That is impressive.

Kyle, you're spot on with The Vanishing. Creepy as hell. And the remake is just ridiculous.
