To the attic with all the other discarded plotlines and characters.

Shall we open a book then on how quickly Margulies is going to dislike sharing a scene with her? Any bets?

On a completely shallow note how come that Margulies' wigs are so appalling despite being apparently so expensive?

Oh yeah, don't we all, but this is now officially The Julianna Margulies Show, for better or for worse. Mainly for worse.
I just can't get past that awful cut together scene at the end of last season for which I'm holding Margulies responsible.
Also, what, ANOTHER campaign? Dear God. NO.

Thanks for clarifying.

No trolling, just a genuine question: V d'O is 6'3'' (quite a respectable height I would have thought), Charlie Cox is 5'9'' or thereabouts: how tall is Kingpin supposed to be?

Saw RA in real life - he used to live in my area in London - and he's 6'2'' at least (for comparison data: I'm 5'9'' myself). He's surprisingly tall. I say "surprisingly" because like you I find most actors are tiny. There are just a couple I've seen in real life who are genuinely tall: RA, Michael Caine (again, who

Off-topic: RA and LP are supposed to be dating - so when LP couldn't make it he obviously suggested his boyfriend for the role . Yup, I know it's gossip. I'm not ashamed…they make a gorgeous couple.

There is a painting of Titian in the NG in London, the Flaying of Marsyas - a satyr who challenged Apollo to a duel of music. He lost, Apollo flayed him. The painting shows the accurate position of the body = hanging upside down. I'm pretty sure there is a reference to it in the book. I think Lektor has it in his cell

Mmmmm, yes, mmmmm (can't take her eyes off Armitage's body)… sorry, did you say something?

It's in the book.

Eh, no. They're not. They're Eastern European. Very much on the short side.

Really? I thought the US produces only tall blonde blue eyed salt of the earth men?

Richard Armitage is 6'2'', Lawrence Fishburne is 6'2'' - plenty of tall guys to go round.

Where oh where is that avclub review…it's taking ages…

Hm, yes, hm.

Question: which Lorrie are you referring to? - Lori Grimes, aka Rick's wife in The Walking Dead?

You have a point. An excellent point. A point I haven't thought of and which now really depresses me. Season 5: "How to bring back Juliette from the dead". Urgh.

Wow, I'm impressed, never thought they would have the balls to kill Juliette right and proper. Kudos. I honestly thought they were going to side-swerve that one. Well done.

The way they're lighting Margulies is all over the place, some episodes she looks fresh and amazing, then other eps she looks quite harsh, with way way too much make-up on. Also her weight loss makes her look older: once you are a certain age aggressive dieting shows on your face and not in a good way.
