I'm still freaked out by the preview for next week: Juliette + Sean? Oh. My. God.
Also: Kenneth and Sean showdown. Finally something is happening. I'm trusting Sean to kick Kenneth's ass as soon as he's recovered from his stigmata. Slightly off-topic: nice to see Sasha Roiz matched with an equally tall/powerful actor.

Wow - Alicia is so staggeringly bad at politics. If it weren't for Eli she'd be a disaster. Oh, hang on, even more of a disaster.
Also: WTF happened to this show - it went from brilliant to whatever this it.

Thank you. Also kudos for the impressively complete recap.

What do you mean you "hope"? I thought we all hope that Grimm gets renewed? Explain yourself, sir.

It's Zauberbiest not Sauberbiest. Zauber = magic. Sauber = clean. And yup, I'm a) nitpicking and b) trampling all over your lovingly applied Grimm nomenclature. Apologies - I'll see myself out.

Poor David Giuntoli: short on charisma and stature.

Oh, that's ok. I always assumed he was gay anyway - doesn't make me like him less. It's all about the acting and the fantasy (ha!) anyway. It's just sad that in this day and age a lot of actors still have to be careful about being honest about their sexual orientation.

Yup, he is. And: lucky you.

Enjoyable enough episode but the gender politics are horrific - and that's in addition to the lack of logic to the narrative (as has been pointed out already in the thread): the hormonal change won't be permanent so the female part will eventually return when in a men's (!) prison: and whichever way that plays out it

The subplot with Baranski, Cole and Platt really elevated this episode for me. Another big plus in the episode: David Hyde Pierce. Love him. I'm still meh on the whole election thingie…I was hoping Alicia would lose…not looking forward to more SA plotlines…

Amen to that but I'm afraid we're stuck with SA Alicia now. Urgh.

@Evil Lincoln: thank you for keeping the reviews going during the lean times. Absolute pleasure reading them.

And a special shout-out to @ Evil Lincoln for keeping us going in between. Thank you kind sir.

Yay! The reviews are back! Thank you thank you thank you.

Oh and Sif: amazing. Exactly what this series needs. Please make her a regular.

Looks awesome - can't wait.

No complaints about the episode - really enjoyable but again I was struck by how much the soundtrack lets the series down - cheesy, 80s sounding crap. I mean if Agent Carter can use music and sound effectively why can't Shield?

Well, it's Goode all the way with me - not approving of that Johnny-come-lately. There can never be enough Goode.

And not a second too soon. He's been strangely peripheral to all the action so far. They need to find more for him to do.

Not knowing what dying Hungarian cats sound like I can neither deny it nor confirm it.
