Yeah, I got nothing against action per se but I'm mostly miffed that destroying the Enterprise with each outing has become status quo and putting Kirk on a 21st Century dirt bike because, why not?

But what was Titanic up against from December to April? Speed 2? The Relic? Beverly Hills Ninja?

Hey, let's ruin the cryptic mystique of another horror icon by giving us a childhood backstory nobody asked for.

I consider myself a Trek believer but I'm open-minded and actually enjoyed the initial reboot. Granted it had the pace of The Fast N' Furious and nearly blew up the Enterprise on her maiden voyage but it was well-cast, had good chemistry and was smart enough not to mess with TOS canon.

Then maybe Hollywood should look at Andrew W. K. to write and produce future projects. I'm sure he'd be much cheaper and probably better.
