And isn't IFC pretty much the alternative comedy network now, anyway?

A Blaffair to Rememblack.

Not teen sensation Martin Mull?

For some reason people confuse the presence of scientist characters for the show itself being clever. Bazinga!

"Mike and Molly" is pretty terrible once you factor out goodwill toward its stars.

Usually yes, but RuPaul has stated that he's flexible with pronouns.

I'm a Drag Race fan, but Drag U just seemed really exploitative and possibly misogynistic to me. It's just painful to see these really awkward women tell their heartbreaking stories, and then at the end of it look (9 times out of 10) embarrassed and clumsy in the final performances. It just seems like exploitation

While they both did other stuff, I think Mooney and Bennett were primarily noticed for their Good Neighbor sketches on Youtube.

Wait…So Bad Grandpa is a prank movie? "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" wasn't enough for us?

So I guess the verdict's in on Maron

I've only once had a sex dream about an SNL cast member.  It was Jon Lovitz as Master Thespian.

Myers always seemed like seat filler to me (though to be fair, I'd rather watch his segments than Colin Quinn's), and never developed a really unique point-of-view like former solo anchors. The fact that Michaels actually wants him to carry on after January is mind-boggling. Is anyone really mourning that loss to WU?

I think Janeane Garofalo identifies as asexual, so no LGBT points for that, but definitely some QUILTBAG points.

Yeah, I'm a huge fan of both Brand and the original, but the new one is just horrible in so many ways. I really dislike Greta Gerwig and the basic archetype she represents, but Jennifer Garner is so much worse in the film. And weirdly, the humor and tone are way more PG than in the original. Really, what was the point

I'll always have a soft spot for Colin Hanks because of how much I loved that movie "Orange County." Tom Hanks being is dad is just incidental.

I always thought Home Alone 2 was better than the original. I love the pigeon lady, as well as the campy vision of a "scary" city at nighttime (where hookers make fun of a terrified 10 year old, wandering alone).

@avclub-0a7d7a81e8e3a20e4c34748e98ef45f6:disqus I agree with that description of "Life's Too Short" but the show was really underrated due to peoples' current feelings about Gervais. Warwick Davis is pitch perfect in it.

@avclub-adb4c903674d579c1a43dbf3ae93f077:disqus Yeah, my first and pretty much only thought upon watching the trailer for "Derek" was: "Ricky Gervais is *really* taking this making fun of Karl Pilkington thing too far"
