Yeah the scary thing about how unlikeable her character is is that Helen (Rose Byrne) didn't seem as hateable despite being pretty intolerable on paper. But I think part of that is I love Rose Byrne and don't think she gets her due. She was hysterical in "Get Him To The Greek."

I first saw her in this web series before she was on SNL was just amazed at how hilarious and weird she could be without saying anything:

Fair point, I guess I mean mostly in the context of SNL. Her send-off was so absolutely over-the-top, and a little insulting to other cast members in my opinion (where was Darrell Hammond's send-off? Before the Tina Fey as Sarah Palin era, SNL's political content was 100% dependent on him).

I feel like this is why I like Kate McKinnon so much. She is a really "out there" comedic actress but without the weird smugness that permeates so much of Wiig's work.

TBH I got excited last night when they referenced Fred Segal by it's actual location. I still have a soft spot for the sketch, but I know if I were not from LA I would hate it.

I didn't like it much, but how is that possible in a season with episodes hosted by Justin Bieber, Adam Levine, and Bruno Mars?

I feel similarly. I loved Bridesmaids (I really loved every single minor character in it. Ironically, Maya Rudolph was the only other weak link for me. I just didn't buy them as those characters at all), but found her forgettable and unnatural in it. And on SNL she's had some characters I've loved (the Lawrence Welk

Personally I love Armisen and I'm glad he's been more heavily featured on the show recently. The only thing that's made me tire of him is too much Portlandia.

Oh god, I saw Mrs. Brown's Boys the last time I was in Ireland and it's the closest thing the UK has to Tyler Perry movies/shows. I give it a free pass for being a rare, successful Irish TV show, but Miranda is indefensible.

I feel like a U.S. version of Spaced could have been so much worse than what I saw of the pilot. I wouldn't watch it, but considering we live in a world where the Big Bang Theory is a highly successful TV show, it really wasn't that bad. No use to compare it to the source material.

Honestly, seeing both him and Jessica St. Clair in that pilot gave me such an appreciation for O'Dowd and Parkinson, as well as increasing my hatred for American sitcom character tropes. Gender is usually more exaggerated in American TV. Recasting Jen as a perky American sitcom blonde made the character intolerable.

It's for people who liked Two and a Half Men, but wished that everyone on the show had the charisma of Angus T. Jones (and really enjoyed the 2003 catchphrase t-shirt trend).

That is hands down my favorite sitcom episode of any show, and I quote it regularly. Roy's face when they load him into the van is legendary.

I like it, but it's worth it just for the theme song alone.

For me, Fall Out Boy was one of those bands I liked despite every reason I shouldn't. I hate every other band most of their fans like, their aesthetic was childish, but hot damn, "Dance, Dance" is a fun song. And I think Patrick Stump is really underrated as a singer/frontman. Truly, people hate them so much because

Yeah, I interpret Roxxxy's weight to be at "not a twink" levels. Beefy, sure, but  not big in a way where she could be referred to as a "big queen." But this is a show where you either need to be Raja's weight or Latrice's weight. People read you if your in-between (think: how people made fun of Alyssa's body). All of

"Where my people at! Where my people at!"

I'm a pretty big McKinnon fan, but even I'll admit she can detract from a scene when she's in a supporting part. But then again, hey, so did Mike Myers (though to a lesser extent). This web series she did before she was on SNL really used her well as a background performer: https://vimeo.com/15931503

Really? I feel like while Vaughn is more conventionally attractive, he comes off as waaaaaay sleazier/boozy than CK and I don't think he's less believable in that role at all.
