Or Sam could join the FDNY as a rational backstory to continue the show's trademark

I grew up outside of the U.S. and after watching that show believed that was the customary way that American children visited their friends. I was so disappointed when I found out that wasn't true.

The joke was not about her being a bad actress, but being unsuited to the genre and subject matter.

Andy Serkis would make a really hot April O'Neal.

Too soon for yam jokes?

Well, I believe it really sincerely. I think the consensus is based on good publicists more than reality, and putting him in a tuxedo and trying to pretend he's the new Cary Grant or Sinatra won't change that. I mean, he definitely has some major lack, if not of charisma, certainly of charm. Just my opinion.

No, it's got a different plot and they use prosthetics to simulate the actual condition (the condition in "Jack," where he just ages rapidly is not actually Progeria which is disfiguring in other ways).

Just give her role in "The Flintstones" a chance…

That definitely sounds like a James Franco movie.

I stand by my belief in Uma Thurman's amazing costumes in that movie. That is superhero camp at its unquestionable zenith. And Schwarzenegger has some classic lines.  But boy does that movie remind you of Clooney's complete dearth of charisma.

Has anyone here seen "Paa" with Amitabh Bachnan? I don't know if I'd go as far as "shitty miracle" but I could not get more than 20 minutes into that weirdness. It's about a 12 year old kid with Progeria (the disease that supposedly makes children look like old men, but I swear a child in heavy make-up would have been

Anything for my princess!

@avclub-962ee17833cdfb46d56594292275f539:disqus Ahahaha! Thank you for digging that up! Though, when I google imaged "Santino Project Runway" his personal look from back then was evidence ENOUGH.

Probably since "Where The Boys Are" came out. Because that's the last time the word "zeitgeist" could be applied to the idea of spring break.

"Happiness" is a masterpiece and I havent seen "Storytelling" but his recent films feel like he's phoning it in (but putting his "signature" on them to the point of overkill). "Dark Horse" in particular plays like he was working on a deadline.
