Not many complimentary posts here, but if you actually like this dude's music and haven't heard it, I would highly recommend his first solo album, If I Could Only Remember My Name. He's got pretty much everybody from the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane and CSNY (especially C, duh) playing on it.
Yeah but you can't do this with CDs
I thought for sure that was Shia LeBeouf in the picture
Fun fact: this album was released the same day as R.E.M.'s Monster. I was a freshman in college and went to a midnight sale to buy both CDs.
Great article. I saw them on their club tour in 2000 (at the Cat's Cradle in Carrboro, NC), and they also played a cover of Joni Mitchell's "River" that was quite good.
Stringer Bell on The Wire - I don't think I've ever been more surprised by a character dying than that. Indeed.
Bill Withers - Use Me
I'm a superstitious man. And if some unlucky accident should befall these people you mentioned, if they should be shot in the head by a police officer, or if they should hang themselves in their jail cell, or if they are struck by a bolt of lightning… then I'm going to blame some of the people in this discussion
My Top 5 1993 albums not mentioned in this article:
He certainly brought a Dickensian aspect to the role
Actually Pandora paid over $1000
Borgen just started airing on PBS in LA (KECT 28). You can also stream it here http://www.kcet.org/shows/b…
The cable version (TNT, TBS, etc.) of Die Hard 2 is superior to the unedited due to the awesome dubbing. Bruce Willis's cursing is replaced with someone who sounds nothing like Bruce Willis. And it includes the great line, "Yippee-ky-yay, Mister Falcon."
Between Magnolia Electric Co. and Songs: Ohia there are almost 100 Molina live shows on the Internet archive. I'd highly recommend checking some of them out
