"anal sex without lube honestly doesn´t come close to that"

Yes.  I was going to say something along these lines, too.  Besides loneliness, I have always detected a lot of rage in him.  His sense of humor always has an edge of hostility to it.  I don't think he's happy-go-lucky at all.

"a recurring element of Cooper's story this year - keeping the hopeless from completely giving up"

"making me worry about Cooper like that"

"I've never seen anything that frightening on TV."

Cooper turned his back on the guy he had been searching and left him unsecured  when he went to see what had happened to Lucero.  They both fucked up.

"I really think Sherman is like a young Vic Mackey."

redhotchilifarts  Have you forgotten what she did to Coover's hand with the ball peen hammer?

Michael Cudlitz is amazing.  This was a great episode.  Southland just gets better and better.

No, it wasn't.

I really disliked that movie.  I really don't get why people thought it was Oscar worthy.

Yeah, I gotta agree with you there.  Michael Cudlitz is amazing.

Nice.

Margo Martindale is carving out quite a nice little niche for herself playing major badasses disguised as dumpy middle-aged ladies.

Huh?  You could say that about almost any American, really.

Melissa McCarthy is a fabulous host.  Watching this episode gave me an even greater appreciation of her comedic gifts.  I was marveling at her physicality.  For a big girl, she is really agile, fit, and a good dancer.  She shined in every sketch she was in.

Me too.  I just want John Cooper to be loved.

I love how Cooper's gay but not all p.c. about it.
