I agree, I love the opening device of flashing forward, but they really could lose the narration that goes with it.  This show's audience doesn't need to be hand held.

T.V. never makes me cry, but I got tears in my eyes at the embrace in the Cudlitz/McRaney scene.  That was some mighty fine acting.  I love John Cooper so much.

Don't forget Dewey Crowe!  He rode the short bus.

Ron Eldard was also in the first couple of seasons of E.R. as a paramedic who was Juliana Margulies's love interest, and before that, in a brilliant but short-lived show called "Bakersfield P.D." with Giancarlo Esposito.

I was going to say this, too.  Southland is a great show that nobody watches.

I wholeheartedly second this suggestion.

4. More Dewey Crowe.  FTFY.

"Confused, covered in blood, holding a butcher knife, the officers confront him."

After he hurt her by treating her personal jewelry as just spy props

This whole season, I've been confused by how similar Shelby and Hunter look.  I kept thinking stuff like, "why is Shelby killing Arlo?"  I finally figured out they weren't the same person, and then, seeing them together this whole episode, I saw why I was so confused, because they look very much alike.

And here we have guys talking about girls' masturbatory practices — ignorantly.  Speaking as an actual woman, eight is perfectly realistic, even a little low, for "me-time."

Brutal?  Um, no.  But not every day or anything.

After numerous Tim Gunn impressions, it was great to get a Nina impression — and Michelle nailed her.

I think "prevalent" is supposed to be either "prone" or "predisposed" in the first sentence of the second paragraph.

The second time she brought cupcakes.

I'm not trying to make "juvenile" a thing.  I'm not trying to make any word a thing.

David Sims, please don't try to make "dire" a thing.  It sounds juvenile.

Actually, the hockey plot devices were in Season One.

That's weird.  Nick Roman wrote in his recap on Rickey.org on 10/11/12, describing Deacon: "…(because let's face it, the man is handsome…1960s Cigarette Ad handsome)."
