New Vegas was pretty blah. Despite the "more complex" storyline, the story itself is just as linear as the first one (go to Vegas, pick a side, fight at the dam). Most of your alliances matter for little in the final fight. I would argue that karma was more important in Fallout 3 than "reputation" does in New Vegas.

I dunno. Clash of the Titans could have used a charismatic lead.

I was shocked. Bruce Boxleitner looked great. Nice to see that he has been keeping away from sugary treats.

Alias was running when Bendis was at his peak, back when he would have Daredevil show up for no real reason. I think it might be the best thing that he ever did.

According to this review from a geek blog, the thing sounds like a fucking piece of crap

Vic Morrow was a damn fine character actor.

Adore Her!
I've loved Lynda Barry ever since I stole my big brother's copy of Big Ideas, back in the early 80's. Hilarious stuff. I thought of her mostly as a humor writer until I came upon some of her stuff in RAW, back in the early 90's. Blew me away.

Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes
I picked that album up through one of Amazon's many MP3 sales and I have really enjoyed it. I think the albums falls apart in the second half but "Home" is an amazing song and there about 4-5 songs on the album that are almost as good.

I'm shocked
At the number of commentators who have heard of Amanda Palmer but not The Dresden Dolls.

I doubt that it's about Amanda Palmer. Why would she be accompanied by a piano player?

I generally don't enjoy a capella but I do like the Sing Off. It's a cute show and the best performances are clever and fun.

Yay! Handsome Pete! Now dance for nickels!

Can I get litigious? YES, YOU CAN!

I'm shocked. Everytime I saw Rocket from the Crypt, they killed.

This was going to be my vote. Fishbone. Always Fishbone.

I don't quite get the Catfish hate. I found it quite moving and insightful.

I would say 15 percent
The acting is either hammy or bored. The writing is either leering or bored (I find Vidal tiresome when he's being smutty) and the direction is either incompetent or ripping off Satyricon which is not a good choice.

I think all of the best movie musicals were better than their original stage versions with some exceptions (like Guys and Dolls which is a very good movie but is better on the stage)
