I know this has probably been mentioned several times by now, but the reason Bobbi is being sidelined is because Palicki is pregnant.

Maybe they're trying to acclimate us to seeing her in close-ups, seeing as we won't be shown much of her from the waist down once her pregnancy becomes more obvious.

Hera's too level-headed for the kind of scenarios they wanted to write, which would probably mean a lot more time needed to make her react realistically. There were three new characters introduced, so there's not a lot of time left to see them interact with everyone; cutting out two sixths of the main cast means

I'm more than a little irritated that they brought up the stupid "brain chip" again. Easily the worst idea to come out of the Clone Wars show; it singlehandedly undercut everything the show and films did to portray the clonetroopers as independent and individual characters. It also drastically colors the way viewers

It's made its way onto… various sites, and in fairly decent quality now, if you care to search for it ;)

The Steven Universe comparison is spot on. Ezra's angst badly needed to be toned down, and this was a perfect direction to take it, especially since Kanan himself has a lot of issues to work through. I've always loved when a show explores how the innocence of youth carries with it a level of objectivity that adults

"~are you going to eat me first?~" surprised this wasn't in the stray observations. Brie pulled that line off AMAZINGLY

About the "dick-waving" fight scene — it's very quickly implied between Finch and Shaw that Shaw came up with the plan at the last minute. So the whole fisticuffs was basically just Reese being a huge distraction to get all the men out of the building. Carter confirms it at the end when she smacks up officer snotling.

THIS. Leon needs to be back on this show. Especially now that the cast is expanding, there's so many interesting dynamics that he could play off of.

I would LOVE to see her used in smaller jobs. Like the random cold open will be her instead of Bear being used as a way to smoke out a bad guy before the actual episode begins :D

And I have to agree on little Danielle Kotch. It would have been VERY easy for that role to have come off annoying, like that kid in iron man 3. instead, she turned out awesome. why can't OuaT find kids like these?

You think that's creepy? I've seen vids of jungle centipedes taking down snakes.. T_T I wanted to curl up into a ball after that one..

Yes, also, the treatment causes her to lose weight to an alarming degree, so it could be her stylist trying to overcompensate.

Are you guys serious? I've been following Once from the beginning, but it's awful right now compared to this pilot. Lowe gives a performance head and shoulders over pretty much the entire Once cast with the one exception of Carlyle.

Ah. Really? I didn't really mind him. Probably because his role almost didn't matter until the very end.

@ChancellorPuddinghead:disqus Kitty and logan's banter is the best part :D

I'd take Nicholas Brendon on this show in a a heartbeat. He'd also nicely fill a dynamic where he functions as the in-between generation between these kids and Coulson+Cavalry.

Really? Of all the young idiot members of the cast, he seems to be the best at adapting to Buffyspeak at least in rhythm. it could be that his character is just designed to be THAT unbearably awkward in all of the most cliched ways..

Nope. Although episode 3 has a glimmer of chemistry between him and Coulson, that's probably because everyone's dialogue is allowed to increase in IQ slightly when talking to him.

I believe so, at least for television. He's worked with Marvel comics more than once. And I loved it. Astonishing X-Men in particular.
