I thought the stuff with Daryl was too cartoonishly dickish, but otherwise I think his behavior is pretty realistic. He's always been passive-aggressive. Of course his trips to Philly started as a necessity, but now it's like he's using it as an excuse to hide from the ugly realities of his marriage. He's still being

"Can you swing a sack of doorknobs?"
"CAN I?!"

That's my favorite part of the episode. I'm a sucker for background gags.

I'm going to use Cheryl's "Trouble on the hooooomefront?" in regular conversation as much as possible. Or, I would if knew anyone who watched this show and would know what the fuck I was on about.

Yeah, but they haven't played a show since July and I haven't heard anything about definite plans to record another record (which is a shame, because the new songs they were playing on tour are killer).

Sleater-Kinney have done their hiatus right: went out at the top of their game with no drama, and all of the members have put together killer side projects. That said, GET BACK TOGETHER GODDAMNIT. From what I've gathered from interviews, it kinda sounds like it's going happen soon. Carrie's Portlandia success kinda

Yep. Alison Brie is wonderful and all (though lately, Gillian Jacobs is supplanting her as my Community crush), but Jenna will always be my favorite. It doesn't hurt that she always kills it when they give her a major story arc.

Was Peggy an only child too? I can't remember any brothers or sisters off the top of my head (though I'm not well-versed in KOTH continuity).

Re: the lack of extended family members: do you think they made Marge and Homer's families small on purpose specifically to avoid that? Homer only has an unmarried half brother who's only really appeared in two episodes, and Marge has two unmarried sisters with one adopted child between them. Not to mention that we've

Pam's increasing anger about the peer reviews was hilarious and endearing at the same time.

This was a good Pam episode, even though she wasn't in it much. "That lemur is HOSED."

"If were elected mayor, my first act would be to kill the lot of ya, and burn yer town to cinders!"

Wasn't she also the blind girl on 30 Rock that Kenneth had a crush on?

Man, I really love those Milk Advisory Board sketches. Definitely my favorite thing about this season so far.

"Hehehe! I smashed it good! You got really pretty hair."

The tent video sketch was forgettable? Carrie getting trapped in the tent while trying to yell at the kid next door was some fantastic physical comedy.
