My heart sank when I saw Jennifer Lawrence in the banner image, then I actually read it and it turned out to be some snooty BS. Because liking dumb movies is just as bad as being a horrible racist or domestic abuser, amirite??

Yeah, same. I think every other time they've showed people who've been eaten, there's quite a bit left. Also, why did they just leave Lori's body there? They were digging a grave for her.

I dunno, at first I thought this looked terrible, but I'm coming around. I think if I just pretend it's totally disconnected from the book, I'll probably enjoy it. Did anyone else think there was some subtle commentary in the scene where the older teenage boys were hogging the Sugar Rush game and keeping the little girl from playing it? I saw it as a little jab at how nerds/fanboys have a tendency to co-opt things that aren't aimed at them.
