6 really was fantastic and 5 has a nice, old-school charm about it that I like. I also really enjoyed the updated version of 3 that came out for the Gameboy.

VII was terrible, I thought. The story was convoluted and disjointed. And I found it kind of lame how easily and quickly your characters became powerful, like ridiculously powerful — you actually fight and defeat God in that game. Twice. Oh, and every character in your party can become the Pope… ?!

Yes, then go back and lose 300 doing a solo quest.

Yeah, I always found UCB kind of horrible. Comedy Central was really cranking them out back then. I guess they were desperately trying to fill the hole left by Kids in the Hall, but Exit 57? Vacant Lot? Awful shows. And UCB just barely surpassed them. Definitely some good sketches here and there, but I still wouldn't…

If that's really their intent, then I appreciate it. But Rocket Slime is the ONLY other DQ game they've ever reviewed despite several releases in the last few years, and that game wasn't even a part of the main series.
