Persona 3 always only had 3 social stats.

Finished up Cyberpunk 2077 this past week. Even ignoring the bugs, ultimately I thought it was a good game that was supposed to be the BEST GAME EVER. There were a bunch of creative choices that detracted from the experience, but when the game worked it REALLY worked. You can see where they tried to take the Witcher…
It feels really weird that I’ve been seeing so much PR spin around Chris Pratt when Jurassic World 3 just cleaned up at the box office. Is his ego so fragile he NEEDS everyone on the internet to love him?
Is it just me, or did the AV Club used to have about 85% fewer “let’s point and laugh at the freaks” mean spirited posts?
I’m lukewarm on Chrono Trigger, and I still could never get over killing off the cast of the first game in Chrono Cross. The plot is virtually nonsensical, with more ambition than structure. The cast of playable characters is massive but fully half aren’t worth using, and you lose your favorites from the first act…
Oh good. Ambiguity is the worst. Why would any viewer want to engage with the text and draw their own conclusions?
I’m pretty sure Bev poisons Paul at his request. There’s a brief scene of her putting the poison back up on the shelf, and the blood he spits up resembles the dog's death. He later mentions God required him to take a leap of faith - referring to him killing himself.
That’s terrible.
Gigi got a lot of wins last season to set up a Gigi vs Sh***y P*e plotline that ultimately got edited out. So viewers just got Gigi getting a ton of wins that felt absolutely unearned. That said - wins don’t mean much in this era of Drag Race.
The hair/beard combo is throwing me. Either clean up the beard or grow out the hair. The neatly groomed hair doesn’t work with the shaggy beard.
The antebellum themed party situation became public information after the season had filmed. The reference to 2018 is about when the party happened, and Harrison’s defense claiming it was a different time.
Hey, I’m still in my 30s!
Oooh, shady, but true!
I wonder how much of the format change is “Well, we’re dragging you out to California, making you quarantine for two weeks, and then placing you in a production bubble; it would be real messed up to send you home after one episode.”
The Howling is a film near and dear to my heart. It came out the week I was born. I got my handle here from the subtitle for the sequel. American Werewolf in London is without a doubt the better film, and still has my favorite werewolf transformations in cinema. They’re just so visceral and painful. And the film as a…
I’m from the far flung future of 2020. Bad news: it does NOT get better.
If it’s based on the movie, presumably the entire runtime will be the kids wondering where Chris Pratt is, and talking about how awesome Chris Pratt is, and then long lingering shot of Chris Pratt and Blue staring into each other’s eyes.
I absolutely love this film, but I have an enormously high tolerance for the films Death Proof was directly inspired by. There are just so many little touches in that first half that make me say “HAH! Yep, that’s how they used to make ‘em!” I mean, there’s a missing reel! (in some versions)
Eh, Final Fantasy XII is about 1/2 a great game.
I typically enjoy the scripted acting challenges, but that’s less because they’re any good at all (they are most definitely not) but because there’s almost always an amusing train wreck which sometimes ends up as comedy gold. This one everyone did fine, so it really brought to light how the scripts are never more than…
