Late night at furry conventions are the best. Every furry is drunk, high, or both, and anyone else out that late is just as crazy. Like the time a gentleman started becoming upset because his two escorts were taking pictures with fursuiters instead of paying attention to him. Or when a wedding party started smashing

Jeff Probst is basically there to defend the game, no matter what occurs, and lionize the young, athletic, attractive men at every possible opportunity. He’s one of the worst reality show hosts out there, and certainly the worst among the bigger reality shows.

I hang out on AITA fairly often, and it’s quite common for the poster to come back and admit they were the bad guy when the overwhelming consensus is that they are TA. It can be pretty heartwarming to see someone admit they were wrong and make amends.

The last FMV isn’t even different for each killer - it’s just the guy typing away with variable voice over based on who you picked as the killer. One of the potential killers (spoilers for a 23 year old video game) is his comatose girlfriend, and it barely gets a shrug from him. The game is definitely ambitious but

I bought it on Comixology, so at least that part isn’t correct.

I’ll be playing Xenoblade Chronicles X, a game that is rapidly rising up the ranks of my favorite games ever.

Yeah, it’s the greatest movie that I hate. It’s a tremendous achievement, a wholly original art film blockbuster, and I can’t watch it from beginning to end. As I get older, I simply don’t have the patience for Great Films unless they’re also entertaining, and 2001 just isn’t entertaining.

It’s undeniable that Stonewall marked a turning point in the gay rights movement. Previous efforts, specifically the homophile movement, had leaned heavily on respectability politics with a focus on assimilation. At protests, groups like the Mattachine Society would self police and keep couples from holding hands in

It’s impossible to know the exact circumstances, but there wasn’t a specific inciting incident. Patrons that night have said they were fed up, and those being arrested struggled with the police. Eventually things erupted into violence. The narrative of anyone “throwing the first brick” is more metaphorical than it is

So it’s pretty clear that production was setting Silky up for a big lip sync win here, as I can’t think of a way Nina could have possibly been successful to that song. And boy howdy, did THAT backfire. In retrospect, that does put Silky’s very strange arc from hero to villain to collapsing star into perspective. She

It’s unbelievable to be saying this, but City of Heroes. Over the past seven years I’d just occasionally get the urge to play one of the many (many, many) different types of builds from that game and then feel sad that it shuttered too soon. And now it’s back! Unofficially on a private server!

Yeah, I’ve never gotten the overwhelming love for Winter Soldier myself. It may just be that I don’t get some of the plot points. Honest to god, after watching the film three times, I still don’t understand why the data on the flash drive lead them to the AI bunker.

You always fall for the idea of a person. It's impossible to know the truth of anyone else, online or off. See anyone who has been blindsided by a cheating partner.

What a strange ball, and not in a good way.

A good episode, but also one where the heavy hand of the producer was on full display. Silky is already earmarked as top four, so she needed a win, but I definitely didn’t see her in the top based on performance. And Shuga was ROBBED.

I’m happy to die on the hill of “Inquisition was worse than 2" but I agree, otherwise. I’d be thrilled if they pulled a Bungie and bought out their properties, but even then, it’s likely a too little, too late scenario.

I’ll be playing one of the Tales of games, either Vesperia or the original SNES Phantasia.

I really felt that Andromeda’s open world added nothing to the experience. If BioWare hadn’t been chasing the genre open world trend and built Andromeda around self contained, tightly constructed missions (like the original trilogy), I do feel the game would have been more of a critical and commercial success. I still

Lots of folks putting the responsibility on BIND to ask if the relationship will change when they cohabitate, and not on the boyfriend, who knew his rules would change, to tell BIND he was moving the goalposts. Nope, BIND, you got bait and switched. Good luck sorting out the mess this manipulative jerk dumped in your

Glad to hear there’s improvement. I got irrationally angry at season one, because it really felt like it was wasting my time with glacially paced setup and a resistance to changing the status quo even a little bit before the big ending. It may just be that this show isn’t for me, though.
